Chapter 301: Hela and Nebula

Towering golden structures stood grandly against the setting sun, each piece of Asgard's land appearing like naturally formed geometric wonders. Representing nature's finest craftsmanship, it was said that Asgard's flawless walls were forged by giants, their perfection unmatched. As a result, Asgard stood as the most beautiful realm in the Nine Realms and the home of the Aesir gods.

Clad in golden armor, Heimdall stood motionless at his observatory, a steadfast sentinel. Suddenly, his golden eyes opened wide, as if perceiving something alarming.

Outside the grand hall of Vangröff, where the goddesses often gathered, a woman cloaked entirely in black stepped out with a graceful yet commanding gait. No one knew how she had appeared, nor could anyone discern which goddess she might be.

"Ah, Emperor, where have you gone? If you don't show yourself soon, I'll unite the Nine Realms and flush you out of hiding," she murmured.

The woman removed her hood, revealing a face of classical beauty, like a Grecian sculpture. She was none other than Hela.

After Alan's disappearance from Earth, Hela had inquired of the Ancient One regarding his whereabouts. The Ancient One had informed her that the Emperor was no longer on Earth. Longing for him, Hela returned to Asgard, intending to seize control of the realm and use Heimdall's all-seeing eyes to locate Alan.

Hela entered a spacious chamber bathed in a golden sunset glow. Yet in the shadows, untouched by the light, someone crouched silently.

Hela approached and spoke softly, "She hasn't woken up yet?"

The figure rose to her feet, her blue, cybernetic appearance accentuated by mechanical lines coursing across her body, making her look more like a machine than a person.

This was Nebula, a soldier of Thanos's army.

Both Gamora and Nebula had been dispatched by Thanos to hunt the Infinity Stones. Gamora had found the Power Stone, while Nebula had discovered the Reality Stone. Yet, like Gamora, Nebula no longer wished to remain under Thanos's control. After taking Jane Foster from the Collector, she sought to use Heimdall's eyes to find a place where even Thanos couldn't trace her.

In Asgard, Nebula had coincidentally crossed paths with Hela, who had just arrived. The two quickly formed an alliance: Hela would obtain the Aether Particle to conquer the Nine Realms, and in return, with her enhanced power, she promised to help Nebula defeat Thanos.

"She hasn't awakened yet, but I suspect it won't take long. How is your strength recovering?" Nebula asked.

Hela clenched her fists. As long as she remained in Asgard, her power would grow boundlessly. The strength she had previously lost was now fully restored.

"Now, I am confident in my ability to control all of Asgard. Once I acquire the Aether Particle, no one will be able to stop me."

Nebula glanced at Jane Foster lying on the bed. Jane's eyes were darkening, her frail body on the brink of collapse.

"A human body can't withstand the power of the Reality Stone. If the Aether Particle isn't removed soon, she'll die," Nebula said, stepping closer to Jane.

Hela also extended her hand toward Jane Foster.

Meanwhile, Heimdall's expression grew increasingly grave. He had spotted a ship suddenly appearing in the cosmos near Asgard, its arrival accompanied by the distortion of space that scattered everything in its vicinity.

Alan and the Guardians of the Galaxy had arrived in Asgard.
