It didn't stop his body from growing stronger. His body kept growing, and so did his original mana pool, which he never touched as he had infinite mana.

It was because of this restriction that he reached the thirteen-star, star-formation realm.

At first, he didn't think it was a bad thing, but by now, he had realized that this restriction made it hard for him to press further.

After reaching thirteen stars, his progress turned painfully slow.

It was then that this one dungeon appeared in his dream world.

From what Sophie told him, he had to clear that dungeon to move to the star connection realm.
