Chapter: The Hidden Crystal

Adam stood motionless, absorbing the shocking revelation from Zero.

A crystal inside his chest, powering his abilities—it was something he had never considered. His mind reeled at the implications. "A crystal?" Adam asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.

"You're telling me there's a crystal inside every power holder, including me, and it's the source of our powers?"

Adam finds it quite absurd that all power holders have a crystal inside their chest that gives them power. How weird is that.

Zero's glowing patterns pulsed as it responded calmly. "Yes, Lord Adam. The detection device works by emitting specific energy wavelengths that interact with the crystal. If a crystal is present, the energy reflects back, identifying the target as a power holder. If there's no crystal, the wavelength passes through without any reflection."
