The President’s Anger

Chapter:

The President, seated at his desk under the dim glow of a desk lamp, dialed each of his ministers one by one. His tone was firm, his words precise, and his authority unmistakable.

On the other end of the line, the ministers were startled, their surprise audible through their hurried responses.

It wasn't every day that the President summoned them at such a late hour. Yet, the weight of his command left no room for hesitation.

The clock struck 10:00 PM. Ministers, leaving the comfort of their homes, made their way to the President's residence.

Meanwhile, the President reached out to the Prime Minister, relaying Krish's exact instructions: the nationwide investigation of power holders was to be canceled, and a formal alliance with the Union was to be established.

The Prime Minister, taken aback by this sudden directive, listened attentively.
