The chapter begins with Adam and his team entering the secure confines of the Union's base. The heavy, metallic doors slide shut behind them with a mechanical hiss, sealing them inside.

The group moves in unison—Adam at the forefront, followed closely by Ani, Sona, Tayo, Phantom, and the energy field containing the restrained clones of Sona and Tayo.
