The Other Woman

Monday couldn't have arrived sooner with the kind of weekend that I had experienced. Being humiliated by Tatiana was bad enough. Being threatened by Ivan because I refused to sleep with him was another thing altogether.

I was smack in the middle of a family drama that I did not want to be a part of. I tried to rake my head for ideas to get out of the situation but I didn't get any.

I was glad I had a job. Otherwise, I would spend the whole day thinking of the situation. After getting dressed, Boris and I headed to the art gallery.

I was ten minutes early to my shift because I wanted to study the paintings before customers started to come in. As soon as I arrived, I realized Grace wasn't eager to greet me.

Every day since I started working the job, she always made sure to greet me by the entrance and ask me how I was doing. That day, she didn't even bother to look at me.
