Cecelia had left some time ago. Becky offered her a place to sleep but she said no. She revealed she had funds separate from her husband. She saved all the money her husband gave her as a monthly allowance.
That was probably millions of dollars. She was smart to save that money because she was now set for life.
Right when we thought we would have a moment of peace, the doorbell rang again.

I stood up, feeling a knot of apprehension in my stomach. The Sullivan family had a way of bringing chaos wherever they went. I opened the door, and there stood Cora Sullivan, Rebecca's younger sister. Next to her was Dylan, her husband, whose perpetual smirk made my skin crawl.
