"Forget it," Henry said. "You can go to sleep."
Charlotte was about to hang up, but she heard Henry suddenly say out of the blue, "You are a very special woman."
Charlotte said nothing.
It seemed that the President had a heavy heart today, so his imagination was running wild.
"I always feel like I can't see through you," Henry said faintly.
"Mr. President, I am a woman who is very easy to see through," Charlotte said. "I eat a lot, have a lot of strength, and am also greedy for money. If you want to understand me, give me money. I promise you I will jump wildly with joy and show you my true colors on the spot!"
When Henry heard this, he suddenly laughed.
His laughter was like an electric current. It came through the phone speaker, passing through Charlotte's eardrums and into her brain.
Charlotte said nothing.
She didn't know if it was her imagination, but she felt that Henry's laugh just now had held some affection.
