After years of serving haughty aristocrats, the servants were not used to Charlotte's kindness.
In a matter-of-fact tone, she remarked, "What do you mean? We're all equal anyway."
"That's right," chimed Yolanda before she bit into an apple.
The servants tried to resist the kind offer. Charlotte was having none of it, though, as she forcefully sat them down. "Please, have some of the fresh fruits. I insist."
They were still uneasy when they picked up the fruits.
They even offered to clean up after they were done, but Yolanda quickly stopped the servants. "Let me do it."
When they insisted on wiping the table down, Charlotte immediately stood up. "Hey, Sweethearts. Why don't you guys help Mommy wipe the table?"
"Yay, let's help Mommy with chores!" chirped the children as they all stood up obediently, which left the servants speechless.
