Chapter 192: The Six Paths Technique!

Mirai slowly stood up, his eyes glowing ominously in the darkness of the cave.

The immense, domineering power of his Rinnegan filled the entire space, as though it could tear everything to pieces. Yet, even in the pitch-black cave, Mirai's sight remained unaffected.

He fixed his gaze on a boulder several meters away. With just a thought, a terrifying gravitational force burst outward.

"Banshō Ten'in!"

The boulder was yanked toward him, racing through the air at high speed.

Just before it reached him, less than a meter away, Mirai murmured again.

"Shinra Tensei."

An overwhelming repulsive force erupted from him, scattering outward in all directions.

Bang!

The boulder shattered into fine dust before him, disintegrating into particles that floated away on the breeze.

Satisfied, Uchiha Mirai nodded to himself. Over the past weeks of experimentation, he had fully mastered the basic abilities of the Rinnegan—abilities that formed the foundation of the Six Paths Technique.

Emerging from the cave, he clapped his hands to the ground.

"Summoning Jutsu: Gedo Statue!"

Caw! Caw!

Several crows took off from the trees nearby as Mirai nonchalantly dusted off his hands.

"As I thought," he muttered, "only the Rinnegan born from the fusion of Asura's and Indra's chakra can summon the Gedo Statue. Seems like I'll need to pay Nagato a visit if I want to claim it..."

There was no concern in his tone, only calm confidence. In Mirai's eyes, Nagato was no more threatening than a crawling infant. If he wanted to, he could take what he needed anytime.

Focusing his power, the space around him shimmered as a blood-red skeletal form emerged—a manifestation of his Susano'o.

"So, evolving to the Rinnegan doesn't diminish the power of the Mangekyō Sharingan," he noted. Testing further, he activated another ocular ability. His vision shifted instantly, granting him the clarity of the Byakugan, though his eyes themselves remained unchanged.

"Everything integrates perfectly... That's a relief."

Glancing up at the sky, Mirai slowly levitated, defying gravity with ease.

Although he had previously achieved flight using Magnet Release and gold dust, this new method was far superior in style and finesse.

"Why not call this Sky Dance Technique?" he mused with a grin, relishing the irony.

With that, he shot toward Konohagakure, his robes billowing dramatically in the high-altitude winds. The scattered lights of the village below caught his eye, and he raised his arm theatrically, striking a pose.

"From this moment on," he declared with a smirk, "the world shall know true pain."

For the first time in this life, Mirai felt genuine satisfaction.

By the time Mirai returned home, Konan and Mikoto were preparing to bathe.

The moment they saw him, their faces lit up with joy.

"Mirai! Where have you been all this time?"

They rushed toward him but froze mid-step when they noticed his eyes.

"Your eyes..." Mikoto murmured in shock.

Mirai smiled faintly.

"Rinnegan," he explained. "The legendary Sage's Eyes, identical to the Six Paths Sage's."

Mikoto tilted her head in curiosity. "The Sage's Eyes? Does that mean the Mangekyō Sharingan of our Uchiha clan can evolve further—to these Sage's Eyes?"

Mirai shook his head. "No, the Mangekyō is already the ultimate form of our clan's bloodline. To awaken the Rinnegan requires far more stringent conditions—specifically, the complete power of the universe's primordial forces."

Mikoto nodded in partial understanding, but Konan frowned. "Then how did Nagato awaken his Rinnegan?"

"He didn't," Mirai replied coldly. "Nagato's Rinnegan isn't his own. Someone else implanted them into him, likely using him as a host to nurture their power."

He glanced at Konan. "The Uzumaki clan is renowned for their vitality. Only an exceptional Uzumaki could bear the strain of wielding the Rinnegan."

Konan's face darkened at the implications.

"So Nagato... isn't chosen by destiny? He's just... a tool?"

Mirai offered a rare note of comfort. "Don't be too concerned. Whoever gave Nagato those eyes must've had no choice—they probably faced problems they couldn't solve on their own. For now, Nagato is safe."

Konan nodded hesitantly, the weight of long-held doubts lifted slightly.

...

Later, in the Hokage's office

Mirai was sorting through stacks of neglected paperwork when Tsunade burst in.

"Uchiha Mirai, you're finally back!"

Without looking up, he asked, "What do you need?"

Tsunade snorted in annoyance. "Grandfather and Uncle asked why you haven't visited them recently."

Mirai clapped his hands together. A sapling sprouted instantly from the floor, growing rapidly.

Tsunade's eyes widened in shock. "You've mastered Wood Release?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Mirai replied smugly.

Tsunade folded her arms. "Then why don't you release their souls from the Impure World Reincarnation and let them return to the Pure Land?"

Mirai's gaze drifted downward, though his tone remained calm.

"Because of you, Tsunade."

Caught off guard by his sudden seriousness, Tsunade paused.

"What... do you mean by that?"

Mirai smirked. "Let's just say you're enough of a reason for me to keep them around."
