"Damn it! What is Killer B trying to do?"
"He's lost it! He wants to take us all down with him!"
"It's too late! We can't escape now…"
Kumogakure's shinobi were in a state of panic as they witnessed the Eight-Tails preparing to unleash a Tailed Beast Bomb at full power.
With the destructive force of the Tailed Beast Bomb, they didn't know if Uchiha Mirai would survive, but they were certain they wouldn't.
However, in his fury, Killer B had stopped thinking rationally. With a single thought, the massive Tailed Beast Bomb shot forward.
Facing the overwhelming power of the Tailed Beast Bomb, Mirai clapped his hands together.
"Wood Release: Wood Human Jutsu!"
A colossal wooden figure emerged in an instant, its massive hand extending outward to catch the Tailed Beast Bomb mid-air.
Then, with a powerful shove, the bomb was hurled back at the Eight-Tails, exploding against its massive frame.
BOOM!
The thunderous explosion shook the battlefield as the wooden human extended its thick arms, repeatedly pummeling the Eight-Tails.
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
The Eight-Tails roared in pain but was utterly powerless to fight back. In front of the wooden human Mirai had created, it was as fragile as a porcelain doll.
Kumogakure's shinobi stood frozen, their mouths agape in disbelief.
"This… this can't be real. The Eight-Tails is getting beaten down like that?"
"I saw it too! And here I thought Mirai's strength was limited to the Susanoo. Who knew he could use something even more terrifying?"
"Damn it! How many trump cards does this guy have?"
"Why does even a Tailed Beast look so weak in front of him?"
The sight of Uchiha Mirai's wooden human beating the Eight-Tails senseless left an indelible impression on everyone present. A single word surfaced in their minds—monstrous.
Still, they were fortunate to be alive.
Standing atop the wooden human, Mirai crossed his arms, his expression filled with irritation.
Fighting was one thing, but why did Killer B have to throw a Tailed Beast Bomb into the mix? The Kumogakure shinobi were valuable experience points for him. If they all died, how was he supposed to earn his rewards?
With this in mind, Mirai refrained from using his ocular powers to instantly kill the Eight-Tails. Instead, he directed the wooden human to continue beating it down.
After a while, still dissatisfied, he decided to enhance the wooden human further, wrapping it in Susanoo armor.
"Susanoo-Wood Human!"
The already towering wooden human now stood hundreds of meters tall, its attacks even more devastating under the augmentation of Susanoo.
In just a few moments, the Eight-Tails was beaten to the brink of death.
Glaring at the battered Eight-Tails, Mirai coldly declared, "You're too dangerous. I'll have to seal you away."
Hearing this, Gyūki nearly choked on its own breath. From start to finish, it had been the one getting mercilessly beaten, and now this guy had the audacity to call it dangerous?
If Gyūki was dangerous, then what was this absurd Susanoo-Wood Human monstrosity? How could someone spout such shameless words with a straight face?
Damn brat!
While Gyūki fumed internally, Mirai activated his Rinnegan, using its ocular powers to suppress the Tailed Beast before proceeding to seal it.
It didn't take long for Gyūki to be sealed into Uchiha Mirai's body.
Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have successfully acquired the reward: Seven Swords Dance!
Hearing the system's prompt in his mind, Mirai nodded in satisfaction. Killer B's proficiency with blade techniques was top-notch, making this reward far more valuable than some random stat increase or jutsu.
With the Eight-Tails dealt with, Mirai turned his attention back to the remaining Kumogakure shinobi.
By now, the once-proud shinobi of Kumogakure had lost all their arrogance. As Uchiha Mirai's gaze swept over them, they instinctively took several steps back.
Even Matatabi, the Two-Tails, had retreated into its host and fallen silent, ignoring its jinchūriki's desperate calls.
Mirai's cold voice broke the tense silence. "Do you understand now?"
"Your path to destruction is shorter than you imagined."
Fear spread like wildfire among the Kumogakure shinobi. They had never imagined that a single enemy could bring them such overwhelming despair.
With both the Raikage and Killer B dead, who could possibly stop Uchiha Mirai now?
At that moment, Mabui stepped forward from the crowd.
As the trusted secretary who had assisted the Fourth Raikage in managing the village, Mabui knew it was her duty to act.
"Uchiha Mirai, why are you doing this? Even the Raikage has fallen at your hands. Isn't that enough?" she pleaded.
Mirai's expression remained impassive. "It was Kumogakure that attacked Konoha first. I'm merely avenging the comrades you killed."
Mabui raised her voice. "We only started the war for the sake of peace! Everyone's ultimate goal is the same!"
"You wish to unify the shinobi world for peace, don't you? Let's negotiate—we're willing to talk. There's no need for more bloodshed. Continuing like this will only perpetuate the cycle of hatred."
At her words, Mirai let out a cold chuckle.
"You're not offering peace, you're just afraid."
"If you choose the path of killing, then be prepared to be killed."
Desperation etched across her face, Mabui implored, "The cycle of hatred exists because neither side is willing to forgive. Only when we approach each other with tolerance and understanding can true peace be achieved!"
Her impassioned plea hung in the air, but Uchiha Mirai merely waited for her to finish before speaking calmly.
"You make a good argument."
Hope flickered in Mabui's eyes. "So… you're willing to negotiate with us?"
Her hopeful expression was short-lived. Mirai shook his head and replied indifferently,
"No. I'll destroy Kumogakure first."
"After that, you can bring the same ideals of peace and forgiveness to discuss vengeance with me."
His words were like ice water poured over her, extinguishing any trace of hope.
Uchiha Mirai didn't care for Kumogakure's hypocritical rhetoric. Their actions over the years—kidnapping Uzumaki Kushina, ambushing Sunagakure and Iwagakure, stealing the Byakugan and causing Hizashi's death—spoke louder than words.
A village like this needed to be taught a lasting lesson, and Mirai was more than happy to deliver it.
If they wanted peace, they could try seeking it after their destruction.
