Chapter 240: Defeat Me? You Must Be Delusional!

On the way back to the Uchiha compound, Mirai took the initiative to ask about Uchiha Izumi.

"Izumi, I remember your grandfather once mentioned that you don't often visit the Uchiha compound."

Izumi nodded. "That's true. My mother and I have always lived with my father."

"She was always worried about the situation within the Uchiha clan, so she didn't want me coming back too often."

"But thanks to you, everything has changed. So my mother allowed me to move back to the compound."

Mirai nodded. "I see..."

He didn't comment on her mother's concerns but simply continued, "Izumi, how are you adjusting to the Anbu?"

Izumi immediately responded, "Thank you for your concern, Lord Hokage. Everyone has been very kind to me."

Then, looking at Mirai, she added softly, "But, Lord Hokage, you seem completely different from how Kakashi-senpai described you."

Mirai chuckled and patted her head. "That guy suffered too many blows from me, so it's only natural he'd be a little jealous."

"From now on, whenever Kakashi talks about me, just assume the opposite."

Hearing this, Uchiha Izumi couldn't help but cover her mouth and giggle playfully.

"Understood!"

As they chatted along the way, the relationship between them became much more familiar.

Upon reaching the Uchiha compound, Mirai bid farewell to Izumi.

She was still young, it was enough to make an impression. Doing too much might make others think he was some kind of creep.

...

Uchiha Compound.

In the courtyard, Tsunade, Konan, and Uchiha Mikoto were soaking in a large bath.

Tsunade, unused to bathing with others, frowned and asked, "Mikoto, Konan, why did you insist on dragging me into this bath with you?"

Mikoto smiled. "Tsunade, you'll get used to it after a few times."

"Mirai once said that only by being completely open with each other can we achieve true harmony at home."

Tsunade clenched her teeth. "So that bastard bullies you all like this all the time?"

Konan shook her head. "I wouldn't call it bullying. Who knows? Maybe you'll start enjoying it too."

Tsunade snorted. "Hmph! As if! That pervert can dream on!"

Mikoto and Konan exchanged glances but didn't push further. Instead, they turned their eyes toward Tsunade's raised arm.

"Tsunade, why are you acting so shy?"

Seeing their puzzled expressions, Tsunade muttered,

"It's not shyness... If I don't hold it down, it'll float."

As she spoke, she let go of her arms.

The next moment, Konan and Mikoto's eyes widened in shock.

They had never seen such a sight before.

No wonder Mirai had been so persistent about Tsunade.

Compared to her... they were completely outmatched!

...

Half a Month Later.

Hokage's Office.

Inside the office, Namikaze Minato, Uzumaki Kushina, and several other powerful figures stood together.

Minato was the first to speak.

"Mirai, are you planning to invade Iwagakure alone again?"

Uchiha Mirai nodded. "That's right."

Minato sighed helplessly. "Mirai, you are undoubtedly strong, but Iwagakure is no pushover."

"Especially the Third Tsuchikage, Onoki—he's not someone to be underestimated."

"He wields the Dust Release, an ability superior to even Kekkei Genkai."

"It can disintegrate anything into dust. Its offensive power is overwhelming."

"Going alone is far too dangerous."

Minato was deeply concerned. If Mirai got hit by Onoki's Dust Release, even he might not survive.

Mirai simply smiled. "Minato, don't worry. There's no one in the shinobi world stronger than me now."

"You should prepare yourself. Once I conquer the Land of Earth, I'll hand over the Hokage position to you."

Seeing Mirai's unwavering confidence, Minato realized there was no point in arguing further.

Uzumaki Kushina, however, couldn't hold back her frustration.

"You little brat! Can't you at least take a few people with you?!"

"Do you have any idea how much your safety affects the entire shinobi world?!"

Mirai glanced at her and said calmly, "Kushina, is that any way to speak to your elder?"

Kushina froze. "Elder? What do you mean?"

Mirai smirked. "What is Tsunade to you?"

"She's my aunt."

"Exactly!" Mirai said. "Tsunade is your aunt, and she is now my woman. So doesn't that make me your uncle?"

"WHAT?!" Kushina's voice cracked in disbelief, her expression full of shock.

It was bad enough that he had already charmed her best friends, but now even Tsunade…?

Just what the hell was this guy trying to do?!

Minato, standing to the side, was completely dumbfounded.

Jiraiya-sensei… you can stop looking for the Child of Prophecy. Our whole house is doomed.

...

Land of Earth.

An endless expanse of barren land stretched in all directions, filled with rocky mountains and jagged terrain.

As the wind swept through, dust and sand swirled in the air.

Uchiha Mirai sat atop a floating mass of golden sand, slowly making his way toward Iwagakure.

When he was still several miles away, a short figure appeared in his vision.

Onoki.

Onoki stood alone on the ground, his eyes filled with unwavering determination.

He remained motionless, like a steadfast boulder.

Uchiha Mirai rested his chin on his palm and lazily looked down.

"So, Third Tsuchikage, are you here to welcome me?"

Onoki snorted and clasped his hands behind his back.

"I've been waiting for you. Took you long enough."

As he finished speaking, he slowly floated into the air.

But the next second—a sharp crack echoed through the air.

Onoki's face twisted, and he suddenly dropped to his knees.

"Agh! Damn it…! Standing too long… threw out my back…"

Watching this scene, Uchiha Mirai was speechless.

Is this old man serious?

After a moment of struggle, Onoki finally managed to get back on his feet and levitated until he was level with Mirai.

His voice was low and resolute. "Uchiha Mirai, why must you conquer the shinobi world?"

"If you abandon this ambition, I promise Iwagakure will never act against Konoha."

Mirai's expression remained indifferent.

"A promise? Any so-called guarantee is nothing more than self-deception. It means nothing."

Onoki retorted, "How could it be meaningless? I can swear an oath as the Third Tsuchikage!"

Mirai let out a cold chuckle.

"Promises only exist when both sides are equally matched and have no choice but to compromise."

"The moment the balance of power shifts, the stronger side will always break their word."

"This has been proven time and again."

"As for why I seek to unify the shinobi world…" Mirai stroked his chin. "I, Uchiha Mirai, do not need to explain myself to anyone."

Onoki fell silent for a moment before saying, "If that's how it is… then I have no choice but to defeat you."

Hearing this, Mirai smirked as if he had just heard the funniest joke in the world.

"Defeat me?"

"You must be delusional, old man."
