"Truth-Seeking Balls..."
"Sage Mode!"
Ōtsutsuki Momoshiki and Ōtsutsuki Kinshiki stared at Tsunade in utter disbelief, their faces frozen with shock.
There was no trace of the Ten Tails' chakra within her... so how could she wield the power that only those with Six Paths abilities were supposed to possess?
But Tsunade ignored their stunned expressions. She simply gathered her chakra and once again charged at them without hesitation.
"Together!"
"Understood!"
After quickly swallowing a few chakra pills, Momoshiki launched a barrage of ninjutsu at Tsunade from a distance, while Kinshiki engaged her in close combat.
With a burst of lightning, Kinshiki transformed into a streak of light, accelerating to an incredible speed and closing the distance instantly. His thick, muscular arm came crashing toward Tsunade in a brutal elbow strike.
Seeing this, Tsunade's lips curved into a small smile.
Hand-to-hand combat — exactly what she loved the most.
"Sky-Crushing Kick!"
"Monster Strength Punch!"
Though Tsunade appeared slim and petite, her strength was overwhelming. Each blow she delivered sent Kinshiki staggering backward, forcing him to retreat a few meters at a time.
Kinshiki cursed inwardly.
The difference in raw power was too great. After just a few exchanges, his limbs were already starting to go numb.
He could only engage briefly before having to retreat, leaving Momoshiki room to unleash his long-range attacks.
"Tch. This is it? How boring," Tsunade mocked with a grin.
The so-called mighty Ōtsutsuki Clan... didn't seem so impressive after all.
It was the first time Momoshiki had ever been mocked like this by a so-called "native," and it made his blood boil. Gritting his teeth, he roared and swung his arm.
"Inukaitakerunomikoto!"
The ground split apart, and countless stones rapidly merged into monstrous creatures — each with the head of a dragon and the body of a serpent.
Each one towered over a hundred meters tall, grotesque and terrifying to behold.
Seeing this, Tsunade clapped her hands together.
"Wood Release: Wood Dragon Jutsu!"
A colossal wooden dragon surged from the earth, even larger than the summoned beasts. It immediately engaged the dragon-serpent monsters in a brutal clash.
Despite their overwhelming numbers, the creatures were quickly suppressed by Tsunade's single wooden dragon.
Momoshiki snorted coldly and gathered more chakra.
"Pheasant Hunter!"
A massive firebird erupted into the sky, its searing flames forcing the wood dragon back step by step.
Yet even under this assault, the wood dragon regenerated rapidly, holding its ground against both Pheasant Hunter and Inukaitakerunomikoto without faltering.
Feeling his chakra depleting at an alarming rate, Momoshiki grew increasingly frustrated.
"Damn insect! Why won't you just die already?!"
Furious, he pushed even more chakra into his techniques, fusing the firebird and stone monsters into a towering magma giant.
The magma titan, hundreds of meters tall, burst forth, seized the wooden dragon in its hands, and tore it apart with brute force.
As the magma giant charged toward her, Tsunade's expression remained calm.
"Wood Release: Wood Human Technique!"
Another titan, this one crafted entirely from wood, rose from the ground to meet the magma giant head-on, engaging it in a violent clash.
"Dammit!"
Momoshiki's heart twisted with anguish.
At this rate, no amount of chakra pills would be enough to sustain him.
Kinshiki, realizing the dire situation, took only a brief moment to catch his breath before lunging back into close combat with Tsunade.
But Tsunade was only getting more and more fired up.
It had been far too long since she'd felt the thrill of a battle like this.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Crash! Crash! Crash!
...
With each thunderous impact, the earth shook violently, like a sleeping dragon stirring in its slumber.
Cracks spread across the ground like a massive spiderweb, covering everything in sight.
Finally...
After enduring a few more exchanges, Kinshiki was sent flying once again. His massive frame was battered and torn, his once-white robes soaked crimson with blood.
Meanwhile, although Tsunade looked a bit dusty and disheveled, not a single injury marred her body.
"Lord Momoshiki," Kinshiki gasped as he appeared beside him, "we're no match for her. We must retreat!"
He was already running on fumes. If they didn't flee now, they might never get another chance.
Momoshiki could feel it too — his chakra reserves were nearly depleted.
Facing someone like Tsunade, who didn't even bother wasting chakra on flashy ninjutsu, left him completely helpless.
Gritting his teeth, Momoshiki popped several more chakra pills into his mouth and snarled,
"Wretched lowborn creatures... I swear I'll destroy this place!"
Tsunade sneered.
"Trying to run now, are you?"
She shook her head, mocking them further.
"So this is the extent of those who hunted Kaguya? What a disappointment."
Momoshiki's expression shifted slightly.
"You know about Ōtsutsuki Kaguya...?" he asked in a low voice.
Tsunade smiled.
"If you want answers, you'll have to defeat me first."
Without another word, she commanded the wooden titan to shatter the magma giant's head with a single punch, then sent it hurtling straight toward Momoshiki.
Momoshiki had no choice but to dodge desperately.
The wooden giant was strong, but clumsy — its heavy attacks left openings he could exploit.
Tsunade clapped her hands in amusement.
"Good! If you can dodge ten punches, I'll reward you with a thousand more!"
She directed the wooden titan to attack ten times in a row, but none of the strikes connected.
Sighing theatrically, Tsunade reached up and loosened the seal on her forehead.
...
A surge of immense Sage Chakra exploded from her body.
"Sage Art: Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands!"
An enormous statue, several kilometers tall, burst forth from the ground.
It loomed high above, its countless fists the size of boulders, and it unleashed a relentless barrage upon Momoshiki and Kinshiki.
Staring up at the colossal statue, both Momoshiki and Kinshiki were utterly dumbfounded.
Weren't they supposed to be the bosses here?
Why did it feel like every single person they encountered on this planet was some kind of terrifying monster?
Was this normal?
Was this even fair?
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The land was utterly reshaped by the devastating assault.
After a long while, the onslaught finally ceased.
When the dust settled, Momoshiki was half-kneeling on the ground, gasping for breath, his robes tattered and bloody.
Next to him lay Kinshiki, barely clinging to life.
"Kinshiki," Momoshiki muttered, voice ragged, "I... I'm out of chakra pills."
He had burned through everything he had just to survive the last barrage.
Hearing this, Kinshiki weakly whispered,
"Lord Momoshiki... you must escape... If we can hold out until reinforcements arrive... we'll still have a chance to conquer this world."
As he spoke, Kinshiki's body shrank, transforming into a blood-red chakra fruit.
Momoshiki grabbed the fruit and immediately took a bite.
If he consumed Kinshiki's chakra fruit, he could ascend to a whole new level of power.
Once that happened, defeating this woman — or at least escaping from her — should be well within his grasp.
However...
The moment he bit down, Momoshiki's face twisted in confusion.
Something was wrong.
The taste was all wrong.
Worse still, there was no surge of chakra revitalizing him.
Frowning, Momoshiki looked down at his hand — and froze.
What he was holding wasn't a chakra fruit at all.
It was a lump of dog shit.
