Ronan put all those thoughts at the back of his mind. For now. It wasn't time he wasn't close to being powerful enough to go up against those people. So he decided to clear his mind and focus on the task at hand. Killing Hector.
He started going, when he reached the fence, he didn't scale it like how he use to before. He simply jumped over it.
Being an Advancer was great, his body could do things he never taught was possible, like jumping over a fence, and just to be clear, the said fence was 13 feet tall. So yeah, it was an amazing feeling, to him at least. Maybe if he got more powerful, these things wouldn't mean anything to him again, but until then he's going to enjoy feeling this way for a while.
It didn't take long, ten seconds at most, the feeling of excitement which he felt earlier was gone, and yet again he couldn't feel anything.
He already knew the root of the problem. A[Shadow Heart]. That was one of the skills that he was ninety nine percent sure came from Vesper. Not to mention [Craving]. He didn't even want to think about that skill at all.
He has been trying to understand the full extent of the skill [Shadow Heart] and he was able to come up with sum guesses.
One of the functions of the skill was to dull his emotions or maybe to lock it. It was a passive ability, that means he had no way of controlling it if he wanted to.
The second function, was to make him clear headed, meaning that in whatever situation or scenario, he will always be level headed.
For example, if he had [Shadow Heart] when he regained control of his body from Vesper, he wouldn't have crashed out the way he did, infact, he was a hundred percent sure that he wouldn't have cared for the deaths of those bastards who tortured and bullied him everyday without fail.
Speaking of Henry, he was shocked that no one has come to look for him concerning their deaths. He taught that at least one of the townspeople would have seen him, or rather Vesper as he entered Henry's house.
He had no idea of what happened after they were killed. He had no idea of that shadow.
(Hmmm. Should I tell him now.) Vesper taught to himself hearing what Ronan was thinking.
In truth Vesper could read Ronan's mind, but he hadn't told the young boy that yet.
(Nah. I'm sure he'll figure it out sooner or later. The boy has a good head in his shoulder, especially know that he has [Shadow Heart].) Vesper didn't think too much about it.
Ronan didn't think too much of it. After all if no one had come looking for him accusing him of killing those kids, wasn't that a good thing? Once again his brain threw all the unnecessary thoughts away. He carried a scarf and tied around his face as he set off to end Hector's life.

In Larkspur, the city was surrounded by walls in the shape of a rectangle, with four towers at each corner of the walls. Now each tower had a tower master who were low tier novices, with only one being a middle tier novice. And that one was Hector.
Hector's post was based on the north side of the wall, while the dump site which Ronan resided in. It was a distance that would be covered in under in 2 hours if Ronan was still a regular. But now that he got his powers with the help of the system and with the stat points he added to his speed, it didn't take him more than 30 minutes to arrive at the tower.
As he stopped and looked around, he was hearing as people who were surrounding him, but not in a close range at all were talking about him.
"Who's that, is he new to this place." Asked a middle aged woman.
"I don't know. I haven't seen him before." Answered another woman.
"That guy's hot. I don't remember seeing anyone as good looking at that anywhere around this city." Said a young lady.
"I know right. But look at his clothes. They're so dirty and unkempt. Do you think he's someone that they just brought in?" Asked another woman.
Ronan heard what they were saying clearly, even though they were not close to him at all, and they were also whispering.
Ronan took a guess that it was because of how he increased his perception stat. In fact, if he concentrated and focused hard enough, everything in his surroundings would move a little bit slower. He also gained the ability to sense people's presence within a 28 meter radius, which was the length of a standard basketball court.
Ronan observed his surroundings, he was looking for Hector trying to sense his presence or hear his voice, literally anything that could give his position away.
After about 15 minutes, Ronan spotted where Hector was. He came out from a street carrying a box heading to the direction of his tower. No one dared talk to him or approach him. There was a huge frown on his face hunting that he wasn't in a good mood, and if there's anything the people of Larkspur could do, it's that they could take a hint, especially when it involved pissing off Advancer's.
Ronan kept an eye on him following where he was going from a safe distance not daring to come to close and also not planning on loosing site of him either.
Hector reached his tower and signaled to one of the tower guard to open the gates for him. As soon as he entered, Ronan activated both [Bolt] and [Shadow Step] at the same time entering the tower in an instance.
On entering, Ronan didn't come out of the shadows. He learned that with the help of [Shadow Step] he could stay in his shadow till his shadow essence ran out. He also discovered that he could latch on to people's shadows too, but it depended on the tier they were, that part was explained to him by Vesper.
He kept following Hector till he reached his office. As the guard entered and closed the door, not knowing that Ronan had already infiltrated the tower and was already in his office.
Hector locked the door and proceeded to sit on his chair, the frown not having left his face at all.
"This is going to be a problem." Hector said while crossing his arm. "How many people is he going to kill if he gets his hands on this?"
'Well this is interesting.' Ronan thought, as he decided not to attack yet, waiting if he could figure out what the bald headed guard was talking about.
