"Huh!? I was seriously accepted!?" I widened my eyes at the accepted letter for my application for a nearby marketing company.
"I thought I was a goner, I thought I failed the interview!" I stood there baffled, pinching my cheeks to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
"I'm not dreaming?!"
My name is Myo Dae, I'm 25 years old and I've finally been accepted into a nearby marketing company, and now I'm *finally* earning money like a responsible adult!
Although, I have a secret hobby, one I swear no one could tell if they looked at me. I'm really into video games.. I stream with a very flexible schedule as a faceless creator. Though.. I'm pretty unknown.. I only have 1 viewer.. who I swear is my eomma.
When I moved out of my parent's house, I bought myself a PC with the money I made from part-time jobs.
What shitty choice that was.
I learnt the hard way of gaming from first-person shooter games. So, I figured I should stream more laid-back games, or a game where I wouldn't be shouted at by my teammates..
After searching on multiple forums online, I found a game called "Eternal Dawn", and I immediately downloaded it. Just for fun!
Customising the character was exciting, since I had rarely seen a game input a feature like this. I went with something basic, a male avatar with black hair, and just for the fun of it. I added cat ears and a tail.
I picked the same name I used for all of my online socials, dam3yo.
Before streaming the game, I put a black mask on. I nervously hovered over the 'go live' button. I clicked on it.
"Hello, it's dam3yo here. 0 viewers so far… I'll be streaming 'Eternal Dawn.' Wish me luck!"
When first spawning into the game, I decided to explore out of spawn to fight some monsters so I could level up.
*I got killed in the first five seconds of leaving the safe zone!*
*Matter of fact..! I got killed multiple times, by a user under the name miseoynn!*

Over.. and over again. I died by the same user, miseoynn..! His avatar was quite cute, it resembled a dog. But god, this bastard wouldn't leave me alone.

This guy.. he thinks he can threaten me in whispers? I don't have to listen to him!
I walk out into the monster zone, and he starts tailing behind me, continuously bombarding me with multiple whisper messages and party invites. I finally caved in and accepted the party invite.
miseoynn: i can finally talk to u without talking in server-chat. god, ur a stubborn stream-sniper aren't u~? ^^
dam3yo: Stream-sniper..? Hold on, I don't even know who you are !?
miseoynn: i already caught 4 of ur alts this past week and ur still acting dumb? looks like sum 1 doesn't learn from their past mistakes lol~!
dam3yo: Ew.. I've had enough.. I'm leaving if all you're going to do is accuse me of something I haven't done. Fix your sh*tty attitude, assh*le! ^^

I clicked on the 'leave party' button.

F*ck.. you're bound to meet some weirdos online, but this guy is the worst! Stream-sniping..!? Who the hell even is this guy!?
Let's just mute in-game notifications! I need to focus on grinding in this game..!

"That interaction left a sour taste in my mouth.. let's just log off for today." I sighed, leaning back into my chair. "Looks like I'll be ending the stream early today, sorry! Have a good day!" I waved to the camera, pressing on the 'end live' button. I sighed heavily again, slumping into my chair.
"Stream-sniper..? Is this guy a streamer?"
I searched the user 'miseoynn' online, expecting no results.
*This guy has 50k followers!?*
"What the f*ck? Isn't that one too many followers..? This is the same guy that kept killing me..!" I sighed, exhausted.
He does hand cams.. let's check out one of his past clips..
"Argh, this f*cker! This guy has been stream-sniping my streams for the second time today. Isn't it getting real repetitive dipsh*t!?"
.. That felt really targeted to me, I'm not even a stream-sniper.. I'm an unknown streamer..!
I'll just take a break from gaming today.. I'm tired..
