Chapter 16 - The Coronation!

In the middle of the Alfmosis desert, Hera exclaimed. – I knew it! I knew that all this was part of a plan, I just knew it! – she paced in circles, her frustration evident.

Arthur, raising an eyebrow, looked at her. – Hera, I never said it is not part of a plan. But in this context, I meant without a queen figure. You know that the main families have to evaluate you and come to an acceptable conclusion for you to be queen... – he explained, observing her reaction.

Snow-white sat down with tears at the edge of her eyes. – But that's not what you said... – she sobbed, her voice trembling.

Arthur, gently running his hand over her face, said. – It's amazing how you like to cry... – he wiped her tears away.

Hera, tapping Arthur on the shoulder, said. – Stop! I'm not a child! You're going to marry others too, you're going to choose many others! Why don't you accept that?! – Her reddened face accentuated by her white skin.

Arthur, looking at her. – Of course not! I'm not going to get involved with others! You're already enough headache... – he said, laughing.

Hera, covering her face, said. – I can only believe you. You've already kidnapped me...

Arthur tickled her, making her smile. – Why are you hiding your face?

Laughing, Hera tried to push Arthur away. – Stop! Why don't you let me get angry...? – she asked, giggling.

It was a real shame that it was just a political maneuver...

In Camelot, at the Chamberlain mansion, the queen and her advisors were gathered in the meeting room.

Sitting in royal robes with her hands on her chin, the queen looked at the chair at the end of the table. – Windsor, there are only a few days left until the ceremony. We should cancel it! – she exclaimed.

Elder Glayder, looking at Windsor, said. – I agree with the Queen. – he said. "The more time we can win, the better! We need to find in the law something that prevents him from being king..." The old man thought, plotting against the king.

Elder Ashura sighed and spoke. – The queen is right, but the law says that the king has the presumption of confidence and by the law we are forced to obey. If he said to wait, we ought to wait until the deadline he determined. The council cannot revoke his decision. I'm sorry ma'am.

Prince Persival, sitting down, smiled. – We can only trust the viceroy. – he said, looking at the elder Glayder. "This snake should have died!" he thought.

Queen Andromeda, looking at Persival with a vein on her face, asked. – What viceroy?! Do you see any?! Do you know where he is?! – staring at him.

Prince Persival Treadway crestfallen, he whispered. – Pardon me, queen...

...

Days later, in the United Kingdom, in Camelot, located in the province of London, people stood in front of the Pendragon monument, waiting for the ceremony to begin, murmuring among themselves. – But where is the king?!

In a golden dress that swept the floor, with a crown over her brown hair that shone in the sunlight, and a tanned skin that matched the dress, the trembling amber eyes, full of nervousness, showed who she was, it was Queen Andromeda, sitting in an armchair on the stage, biting her nails discreetly.

Elder Ashura, nervously standing on the stage, sighed. – Please stay calm! The king is coming! Please stay calm...

Elder Glayder, turns to the other elders with a frowned expression. – Are you seeing this?! I told you that this would happen! – he exclaimed with a sigh.

The twelve main elders, stood close to the stage, murmuring. – This is a clear disrespect! Making the people and the elders wait?!

Emperor Qin, in a black and red kimono, with his long black hair held by a gold hairpin, sat in an armchair next to the queen. – There are good energies here... – he said, looking at some women among the crowd.

A soldier in gold armor approached Lancelot. – Your Holiness, you must see this! Please, come... – he exclaimed, guiding the Saint of the Temple of Light.

On the city walls, Lancelot saw a man on a huge black horse, riding towards the city, creating a sandstorm. – Is that...? Is a person causing a storm like that? It can only be the...

Maya, in a blue dress that matched her blonde hair and veins on her face, said disdainfully. – The lord?" yes, it's him..." he sighed disdainfully.

Lancelot, the Saint, laughed with joy. – Soldier, go warn everyone! – he ordered, looking at Arthur.

At the entrance to the city, Arthur got off his horse and looked at a soldier. – Take care of this horse, it is very precious! – he ordered, handing the reins to the soldier and ignoring Hera.

Hera, on the horse, looked at Arthur. – Arthur, help me down, please... – she whispered in a sweet and soft voice, seeing him leave. She thought. "All this because of a comment...?"

At the monument, the elder Ashura heard the soldier and smiled. – Here comes the king! – he exclaimed, pointing his hands toward the entrance to the city.

Queen Andromeda, with her hands on the arms of the armchair, stood up. –WHAT?! – she exclaimed in a loud voice, looking for Arthur in the crowd.

Hera, following Arthur towards the ceremony, he whispered. – Arthur... Talk to me... – in a soft voice.

Everyone looked at them joyfully. – Is he the king?! Is he the son of King Heinrich?! – they murmured.

– He's so hot... – some women blushed, looking at Arthur.

Arthur, looking at Hera by the corner of his eyes, stopped. – Stay here! – he ordered, heading towards the stage.

The whole crowd made way for Arthur, bowing. – Viceroy!

Empress Eleanor, Selena, Alexia, Allana, Maya, Phoenix, Morgan, Ambrose, Emma, Mey and Astrid followed behind Hera, planning to scare her.

Empress Eleanor, walking subtly behind Hera, whispered. – Shh! Don't make any noise... – she said the others.

Hera, looking at Arthur, noticed Eleanor's crown through her shadow. – I know it's you, girls... – she exclaimed, turning around with a smile on her face.

They all embraced Hera. – It's been a long time... – they muttered to each other.

With tears in his eyes and chuckling, Hera said. – I missed you so much, girls... – wiping tears from her face.

Eleanor, looking at Hera with tears, said. – You look more beautiful, you've become even more astonishing since the last time we saw each other... – she sobbed as she ran her hand over Hera's shoulders.

– Look at you, girl! Your skin is even brighter and soft... – Selena looked at Hera from top to bottom. – And your body, your incredibly hotter...

Hera, smiling, looked at Arthur. – Shut up, Selena! And stop ogling at me! – she exclaimed, looking at Arthur.

Arthur, going up the stage, stopped in front of everyone.

Elder Ashura, smiling, looked at Arthur. "Lord... He doesn't even look like that little boy who wouldn't stop crying... Now he is king..." he said to himself. – Let's start the coronation!
