Chapter 29 - Unveiling Secrets!

In the courtyard of the mansion.

With Tristan pinning her down and twisting her arm behind her, she blushed. – Get off me, you idiot! – black veins appeared on her arm.

Alexia watched them with childlike curiosity. – That was impressive on Tristan's part...

– He's Arthur's best friend, after all... – Hera said, sitting on a bench.

Tristan, wringing her arm. – If you continue with your stubbornness, I'll leave and you'll die in the next battle! – he warned, letting her go.

Mayara, stood up, veins visible on her face. "I almost broke this kid's arm, I need to control myself..." she thought. – What do you want from me?! – she grunted, massaging her twisted arm.

Tristan sighed, looking at her. – Did I hurt you? Sorry, but you fight like an animal who uses martial arts. Your instincts always get in the way of your technique. Try to control yourself. Now, get into combat stance... – he ordered.

Using the Basic Art of the Amazons, Mayara assumed a combat position.

Alexia smiled, observing her. – Interesting stance, this is the position of the Art of the Amazons...

– That's a basic stance for the amazons... – Hera added.

Tristan placed his hands behind his back. – Attacks! – he commanded, looking at her.

Mayara advanced with veins bulging on her face, aiming for hit Tristan's face. "I'm going to kill you, you bastard! Who do you think you are to order me?!" she thought.

Tristan, dodged and stopped his foot in her cheek, showing her a clear opening. – See? – he pointed out.

Mayara squealed, and punched his knee, trying to knock him down.

Tristan retreated and, using the Art of a Thousand Armies delivered the One-Millimeter punch. – I saw the king do it once and I've been training for a long time. It's not perfect like his, but it'll do... – he said, as the impact of his punch created a strong wind that made his hair float.

Mayara was thrown to the ground, blood flowing from her mouth. – Ahh!! – she moaned in pain.

Hera, surprised, looked at Tristan. – Did Arthur teach you?! What level of prowess are you at? – she questioned, incredulous.

Tristan looked at Hera with a melancholy face. – I'm at the top of the Immortal Dimension... And the king didn't teach me, I saw him do it... – he said, wiping his hands on his clothes.

Tristan turned and walked towards the mansion.

Hera, looking at Tristan, was astonished. – WHAT?!

Alexia looked at Hera. – He's in the Second Dimension...

– He's an Absolute Master, Alexia. – Hera said.

Mayara, getting up, wiped the blood from her mouth and placed her hand on her stomach. "He barely touched me... Is that the difference between me in my human form and him...?" she wondered, looking at his back.

Hera with her hand on her chin. "If Tristan is capable of that now, then Arthur must be even stronger. I can't keep up with their speed..." she sighed.

A week later, in the meeting room of the Chamberlain mansion.

Arthur, wearing a royal kimono and a ponytail, looked at a group of people in front of him. – So you deceived your king...? – he said, staring at them.

Elder Ashura sitting in a black kimono, looked at Arthur. – Lord, under normal conditions the Treadway family only reveals itself to the patriarch after three years of reign, but what changed this time is the fact that the lord has the King's Force... – he said, sweat dripping down his forehead.

The leader of the Treadway house elders looked at Arthur. "So, this is Heinrich's son? He's not a big deal..." he thought. – King Pendragon instituted this rule when he discovered the existence of black Qi, mana, and magic... – he said.

Pendragon was afraid that his enemies would harm his family, so he decided to put his family under the hood.

Persival, in a blue and black kimono, staring at them. – And why did you decide to break the law and show up now?! – he asked firmly, supporting Arthur.

The High Elder sighed. "These children tire me out." he said to himself. – We have been sealed with the King's Force, to only obey Pendragon's rightful successor, and that is the young master... – he revealed.

Arthur trained his eyes to only show his indifference and disinterest. But at this moment, he knew that the emergence of his family would disrupt his plans.

Arthur leaned back in his chair. – What else did they hide?

The elders of the Treadway house exchanged glances.

The High Elder sighed. – Not all of the Lord's brothers died as they say. We managed to save three, who were hidden in our houses of refuge... – the old man said, and Windsor continued.

– No one knew the Lord was still alive. I kept this secret fearing that the Amazons might hold grudges. So, the Treadway family trained the three children of the late King Heinrich to one day take the throne... – Elder Ashura revealed a heavy secret, quite uncomfortable for the king.

"This has two faces, it can be good, but it also might not be. The Treadway family has a lot of power over me as the patriarch, they can even decide who I marry, and they can dethrone me if I give them reasons. Looking at these old men, I realize that they are interested in this, they want me out of the way to put these said brothers in my place..." Arthur thought while keeping his eyes on the elders.

Prince Persival, surprised, placed his hand on his chin. – I didn't know that I don't think even Morgan knew... – he revealed.

Arthur looked at Windsor, giving relief to the elders. – Where is the rest of the family?!

The High Elder thought, looking subtly at Arthur. "Sigh... He's useless, but he is undoubtedly strong..."

– They were being kept in Surtir's kingdom, but they're on their way back... – the High Elder continued.

"It's more obvious than ever, this old man wants to get me out of the way and put one of those three..." Thinking, Arthur smiled. "It'll be interesting to see him try..."

At the same moment, Queen Andromeda and Odyssey were talking while looking at the Chamberlain's garden. – This garden is very beautiful... – Andromeda sighed with a tired face.

– You and your mother with gardens, what's so special? – Princess Odyssey said, her arms crossed, and an eyebrow raised.

A servant approached with a tray containing two bowls. – Your majesty, your highness...

Queen Andromeda and Odyssey picked up the glasses. – Thank you... – they exclaimed with smiles on their faces.

The servant, visibly cheerful, crouched down. – It is a pleasure to serve you once again, your majesty, your highness... – she said with a bright smile.

Andromeda looked at her with a raised eyebrow. – Once again? Who is this... – she looked intently at her, trying to remember, then smiled. – Bethany...?

Bethany smiled, bowing her head with the tray in her hands. – Yes, ma'am, thank you for remembering...

Andromeda looked at Odyssey with a bright face. – Bethany helped me a lot when I married Heinrich, especially when I got pregnant for the first time... – she exclaimed, then looked at the servant. – How are you? What have you been doing?

Bethany looked down, revealing the melancholy hidden behind her smile. – Oh ma'am, I've been serving as I always have. But I always missed you, king Heinrich and the little prince... – she said with a smile that hid unfathomable sadness.

– I understand. After that night, everything fell apart. I had to run away to protect Arthur and Allana who was still in my belly... – Andromeda said, looking at her and smiling.

Andromeda was strong, a pity that her life and treatment made her emotionally disabled.

Odyssey looked at the two of them with a smile, noticing their closeness. More than mistress and servant, they were friends.
