Chapter 35 - Twisted Justice!

Galahad stood in the courtyard of the Glayder mansion, wearing a mask and a uniform of the Sato family. He looked at the entrance door. The footsteps of someone whose level of strength was unfathomable could be heard and felt.

Not only Galahad, but everyone else was looking at the entrance. It was clear that the figure could hide his presence, but he chose not to.

"What is this...? Don't tell me it's the..." Elder Glayder's thoughts raced with fear.

[By God, John! Get us out of here, these men are going to kill us!] Elder Glayder's wife cried out telepathically, while embracing tightly her grandchildren.

Elder Glayder sweated like never before, his eyes indecisive, whether he looked at the entrance or at his wife, indecisive and terrified.

The figure entered the courtyard, initially just a silhouette in the distance and darkness of the night. As he approached, everyone froze before his presence, each step was a reminder of how deadly the situation was.

Using an Art of Appearance Modification, he entered the mansion with his aura freed. No one could determine his cultivation level, it was frighteningly unfathomable. The only thing they knew was...

"That man..." the Glayder family thought in unison.

Persival, also using the same art to disguise his appearance, entered the courtyard with a sack in his right hand, following the Dragon.

Old Glayder, looking at the Dragon, knelt down. – W-Who are you...? It's not possible that the Sato family hid a martial artist of this level... – his voice was so shaky, his face so pale, and his body so sweaty. It was no longer fear, it was dread.

The tall figure with a muscular body, tied black hair, and blue eyes took the bag from Persival's hand. His voice, like the final word of a judge in a court of law, a sentence.

– Where is your daughter? – the Dragon asked.

At that very moment, Farah Glayder, escorted by some men and servants, entered the mansion wearing a black kimono and a black hat with a white veil around it. She walked into the courtyard at the worst possible time. – The preparations are... – speaking to her servants, fell silent upon seeing the situation in the courtyard.

The Dragon's gaze was set on the woman, it was something terrible, and she immediately realized it.

"This man is strong..." Farah ended her family's thought with a sweat running down her forehead.

The old man turned to his daughter with trembling eyes. – FARAH, RUN!! – he shouted, reaching out his hand about to release an explosion so that she could be thrown away.

But the Dragon slammed the old man's neck and knocked him unconscious before he could release the blast.

Galahad looked at Gubong and nodded. [Do it!] he ordered telepathically.

Gubong looked at the men and signaled with his head for them to knock out Elder Glayder's wife, grandchildren, and some men and servants of the family.

While Arthur's men knocked the spared men unconscious, others in the Sato house uniform killed everyone escorting Farah and restrained her arms.

"These weaklings can't hold me back, but I need to understand the situation first. If I act without prudence, I'll die..." Farah thought, pretending to struggle but allowing herself be taken close to the king. She looked at her father on the ground. "This man wants me. He didn't kill my father, and my father wanted me to run away..." she thought, swallowing hard.

She hadn't fully realized yet that the king wouldn't shed innocent blood. Even though the elder wasn't innocent, Arthur couldn't destroy all the Glayders. The Glayder family had faithfully served the Treadway family for centuries, the king had to have mercy.

– You?! – she whispered, looking at his uniform with sweat on her forehead. – Of course, you had to be from the Sato house. How much do you want?

Hearing the woman speak, the Dragon smiled, removing the appearance modification art from his face. – Do you really think money will pay for my father's blood?

Seeing his face and hearing his words, Farah Glayder felt fear for the first time in her luxurious life. She trembled to her core and bowed her head in a futile attempt to gain his favor.

"I need time! Damn it! If I had known this, I wouldn't have come!" she thought, looking at the ground. – My king! I don't know what you're talking about... – she said, her eyes trembling as she searched for a solution, a plan to escape.

The Solar Dragon, smiling, opened the bag and threw the heads of Theron, Auryon, and Nefertiti at her feet. – You may not know what I'm talking about, but you know whose heads these are... – he said, looking at her with a malicious smile.

Farah was already bowed, looking at the ground. When the heads landed at her feet, faces up, she saw what no mother should ever see. She turned her furious gaze to Arthur, the look of a mother's rage.

Prince Persival, the king's cousin, looked at the woman and saw the fury on her face. "It's in these moments that the snake shows its fangs..." he thought, releasing a sigh that showed the burden of his desire for revenge, the rancor he bore.

I knew you had an alliance with the king of Indrith, and that you wanted to take my throne. – Arthur said, as if he had read her plans from a book. He placed his hand on his face to hide his smile, and his left eye turned red, it was the Spirit of Justice. He wanted to do justice, but he wasn't foolish enough to let the Spirit of Justice loose; it would be a catastrophe for everyone.

– You are a very irritating venomous snake, but also very foolish... – he said, tilting his head towards the sky and laughing with his hand still on his face. – Ha... Ha... HaHaHaHa...

Gubong, sweating nervously, feared the man. "The king's intelligence and cunning are frightening... How did he know this?! Is this why he ordered me to create a rift between the Sato and Glayders a few weeks ago?" he thought, trying to understand the king's thoughts.

On the same night, Butler was in the garden of the Chamberlain mansion with his hands behind his back. He looked at the sky without expression.

– Is this the human you chose to be your son? A wild animal? – Butler asked the Light, knowing exactly what the man was doing in the Glayders' courtyard.

The screams from inside the mansion began to be heard, it was Odyssey arguing with Alexia, the thing was ugly.

Butler just sighed and returned to the mansion. – This family...

But Butler just sighed and re-entered the mansion.

– YOU STUPID CHILD! WHY DID YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH TO THE KING!! – Odyssey shouted, throwing the cushions of the living room couch at Alexia's face.

– Please, stop! – Hera pleaded, standing between them to stop the argument.

Alexia, behind Hera, screamed back. – I'LL TELL THE KING THAT HIS NOBLE TEACHER KNEW BUT DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" I WANT TO SEE IF HE DOESN'T DO WORSE TO YOU!

These words scared everyone in the room. It was not the fear of Arthur, but shock of seeing a daughter wish for her mother's death.
