Chapter 53 - Athena, The Goddess! [2]

In the Colosseum' arena, in the island, the noise of the Amazons in the audience was thunderous. It was a rare sight for them to witness gods, especially the goddess who was the daughter of an Amazon woman, me.

Fiona, the host of the Ultimate Championship, entered the arena with a flourish. Her dark purple hair glimmered under the sunlight, her green eyes sparkled with excitement and her tanned skin complemented the deep purple dress that flowed gracefully around her.

She held the Gjallarhorn microphone to her lips and announced, her voice echoing through the arena. – It's been so long... I missed this loving audience. – She exclaimed, her euphoria palpable.

With a grand gesture, Fiona pointed to the royal area of the arena, shouting. – AMAZON!!! As a surprise, I want to present to you, the desire of all women, The Man, The God, the Most Powerful King of The Five Continents, The Most Charming, The Most Magnificent, The God King… – she stopped as the crowd made a ravishing noise.

– HAAAAHH – the audience shouted euphorically, making the colosseum tremble.

– ZEUS! I LOVE YOU!!! – a group of amazons shouted.

Looking at the crowd with a smile, Fiona continued. – AMAZONS! I present to you... Zeus! – she whispered in the microphone.

Pointing to the royal area of the arena. – THE KING OF THE GODDDDDSSSSSS!!! – screaming, she bowed in Zeus's direction.

The entire audience knelt down and chanted in unison. – LONG LIVE THE GOD KING! LONG LIVE THE GOD OF GODS! – Their voices created a tremor that shook the very ground beneath them.

In the royal arena area, Zeus stood in his resplendent white robe, adorned with jewels and a golden crown on his gray head. A smile spread across his face as he basked in the adoration of the Amazons.

– Keep going... Keep going! Yes! Whoever stops dies! – Zeus commanded, his voice rolling like thunder through the Colosseum, reaching every ear.

Beside him, Cassandra, my disciple and queen at the time, with a brown robe and a golden flower crown on her head, scrutinized Zeus with a keen eye.

Andromeda, looking up at her mother, whispered urgently. – Mom, please don't make a scandal. – she noticed the mocking glint in her mother's eyes.

Meanwhile, in the Arena, Fiona waited for the crowd to settle before continuing, a nervous smile tugging at her lips. – Now, I want to introduce you to someone! – she declared.

The crowd went immediately silent, they wanted to know who the opponent was this time. The most beautiful goddess had lost against the little thing, who was next in the list?

– A goddess! The Wisest, the Smartest God, Master of Martial Arts, Master of Weapons, Master of Everything and Everyone, and a divine princess with incomparable beauty that no God or Goddess was, is and will ever be worthy of! – she glanced at the audience, her eyes gleaming.

– Coming directly from Mount Olympus, from the divine palace. I present to you, the DIVINE PRINCESS... – she shouted as she looked at the crowd.

The audience's gaze was on her, they awaited the announcement. They wanted to know what goddess was.

– NO! NO... NO! NO! IT CAN'T BE WHO I'M THINKING – an amazon in the audience, shouted as she held her head with tears of disbelief running down her face.

– DID YOU SEE HER GIGGLE?! IT'S HER! IT'S A... – shouting, Fiona interrupted the amazon.

Chuckling, announced. – ATHENAAAAAAA!!!! – Fiona's voice rang out as she pointed to the tunnel on her right.

Walking, my body was still in the shadow of the tunnel, only the noise of my golden heels was heard but as soon as my right heel could be seen.

The ground beneath me shook. The crowd went mad, they were exaggerating in my point of view. – HAAAAAAAAHH – the amazons screamed as if I was the god king himself.

– IT'S HER!! I KNEW IT! – an amazon close to the arena, cried out.

– I LOVE YOU! GODDESS, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!! – they screamed, with tears in their eyes.

– SHE'S SO BEAUTIFUL!!! FOR ME SHE'S THE FAIREST!!! – an amazon shouted in the crowd.

I entered the arena with a golden dress flowing around me and a golden glowing sword in my hand. Armor and shield were unnecessary, I knew this would be quick. After all, what could a mere child show me?

I entered the arena calmly, and ascended the stairs to the stone area, and stood in front of them.

– THAT IS AURA!!! GIRL, ARE YOU SEEING THIS?! – a mortal shouted from the crowd as she noticed my aura.

– KYAAAAHHH!!! – In the audience, some Amazons screamed with emotion.

– SHE IS SO HOT!!! I WANT TO BE AS BEAUTIFUL AS HER!!! – another one, starting to annoy me.

– GODDESS ATHENA, I LOVE YOU! – other shouted, some fainting from the sheer thrill.

Fiona bowed deeply to me, blushing. – Your Divine Highness! – she exclaimed.

Absorbing Qi from the crowd with my arms outstretched, I glanced at her with the corner of my eyes. – ... – my silence was enough, she understood what I said.

Raising, Fiona held the Gjallarhorn. – Now, I present to you, a war tank, a little monster that has surprised everyone in recent years, the prince, the heartthrob of the palace, ARTHUUURRRR! – she shouted, as she raised her left hand to her left.

– BOOOOO!! – the Amazonas roared in disdain.

– GET OUT OF THERE, BOY! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?! – an Amazon shouted from the crowd.

Arthur stepped into the arena, his black and gold gi contrasting against the stone floor, a sword strapped to his back, and his hands casually in his pockets.

– HOW DARE YOU?! MERE HUMAN! – some mortal shouting, threw a rock to his head.

– GODDESS, KILL THIS BOY WHO AFFRONTS YOU!! – the audience shouted in unison.

In the royal area, the area buzzed with activity, serving Zeus and the other dignitaries, but Andromeda, Cassandra and Zeus's eyes fixed the fight.

Andromeda watched her son anxiously, gnawing her fingers, sweat beading on her forehead. – May the Light protect you, my son... – she whispered, taking a deep breath to calm her nerves.

In the center of the Colosseum, Fiona stood between Arthur and me, a cunning smile playing on her lips.

Fiona was ecstatic, she earned a lot of money with the championship. – God versus Man. War versus innocence. Who. Will. Win?! – looking at my glowing presence and the kid's cold posture, she questioned.

– HE DIDN'T EVEN BOW!!! – a woman shouted from the crowd.

– HOW DARE THAT MORTAL PLACE HIS HANDS ON HIS POCKETS?! – an amazon screamed in anger.

Hearing the crowd, Fiona giggled. – Without further ado, LET THE FIGHT BEGIN! – she screamed with a menacing grin as she stepped back.

The scoundrel's gaze met mine again, his eyes cold and indifferent. He knew the story, who doesn't know the tale of goddess Athena's chastity? It almost felt intentional, his defiance.

All of the thousands of martial arts and techniques that I created were god-level. But, because he was a child, centuries younger than me, I decided to take it easy and assumed the combat position of the Celestial Blossom Art, I let the aura of Persephone's flower garden surround me.

Placing her hands on her head, Fiona gasped and placed the Gjallarhorn next to her trembling lips.

– IT'S NOT POSSIBLE!! IS THAT THE LEGENDARY CELESTIAL BLOSSOM ART?! – Fiona's voice filled with awe, she stared at my stance, my left arm behind my back, the sword in my right hand pointed at the child, but what showed that it was that Art was the aura and the perfume of Persephone's flower garden.

I advanced swiftly, aiming to rip off the cub's head. My divine speed was unfathomable, and as a goddess, I was confident. But to my surprise, the mortal ant dodged with only a small cut near his eye as the impact of my sword on the wind sliced the arena.

In everyone's perspective, I simply appeared in front of him with the sword emanating a white light about to cut his neck. The child's astonished face showed that in his eyes I had teleported.

Undeterred, I pressed on, I wanted his head. I was determined to show that no mortal could challenge me. Humans were audacious and needed correction, as I had done with the one who thought my temple was a place of prostitution, another invaded my privacy, and so many others who suffered because they thought I am human.

He dodged, and saw my cut create a gust of wind. With sweat on his forehead, saw an open space under my arm that I left as a trap. I'm sure he thought. "It's now!" his smirk gave him away. He tried to pierce my rib using a Qi blade thrust.

The mortal's attempts were laughable. I easily dodged his Qi blade, countering with the Nine Ice Dragon Art, freezing his head before landing a blow that created another gust of wind and sent him sprawling.

– THUD! – The child fell to the ground with a bruise on his face. He didn't realize what happened, his astonishment was so great that I could hear his thoughts, it was palpable...
