Chapter 71 - Olympus Has Fallen!

The next day, the sky remained overcast in Miragea, the clouds obscuring the sunlight. The light was dim, and the gales lifted everything in their path. Lightning occasionally illuminated the scene, providing brief moments of clarity.

Arthur sat in an armchair in his camp, facing the battlefield. He sipped a glass of infusion and said. – Thank you, Sofia.

Officer Sofia, standing next to the king in a blue uniform, her dark brown hair framing her fair skin, crouched. – I thank you, king Arthur... – she replied, smiling.

Arthur looked at her thoughtfully. – Do you have children?

Her face turned red and sweat beaded on her forehead. Her voice trembled as she answered, – N-No... Sir... When I reached the age of being sent off the island, the queen abolished the reproductive system – her brown eyes were filled with nervousness.

Arthur smiled reassuringly. – Calm yourself, Sofia. You will find a good man. That system did not allow you to be happy; you were just profit and pleasure machines. I want you to be happy. Many Amazons fell in love on these outings, but they had to kill their partners to have their cores. Sad... – she revealed, reclining in his armchair.

That was one of the Titan of Light's abilities, but it was conditional on the trust—the trust they had in themselves, in their king and in the Light. Only then would they activate, and that explosion that the queen created awakened that...

The Amazon in golden armor, runes of Light scattered across her body like tattoos, stood up. – Wow... – she laughed, feeling Heavenly Qi enter through her Qi channels.

Athena, looking at the screen and shaking, thought, "NO! NO! NO! Not that!" sweat ran down her forehead.

Andromeda stood with a furrowed brow, watching the soldiers advance.

Some Union soldiers, being burned by the glow of Arthur's army, screamed, covering their faces. – AHHHH!!

Mara, her face smeared with blood, pointed her sword at Queen Andromeda. –YOU! – she called aggressively, advancing towards her.

Tristan, floating, tore through the wind at an impressive speed, landing a blow on Mara's cheek. – YOUR BATTLE IS WITH ME; YOUR KILLER!!! – he shouted, punching her in the face.

Captain Mara, being thrown away, stuck her sword in the ground to hold on. – You mouthful! You have no honor! Did you punch a woman?! – she grunted, lifting herself from the floor.

Tristan landed, looking at her with veins on his face. – I don't care if you're a woman, not even if you're one of the king's suitors! I'm going to kill you today! You won't be alive at the end of this today! – he declared, creating a katana made of Qi.
