118. Companions of Nytri

Nytri is in the 129th floor and Ivan walks over, Nytri has a blank look. Ivan walks beside Nytri who seems to be building something like a backpack with tunnel-like structures below it beside the wall.

"Are you alright." Ivan asks resting his back on the wall.

"Yeah," Nytri answers, "I'm okay."

Ivan looks at Nytri and tilts his head, he holds her shoulder. "You're not. You need a screwdriver for that instead of a nail." She's using a nail to tighten a screw.

"Oh," Nytri drops the nail and pick a screwdriver. She starts tightening screws and bolts.

Ivan sighs looking at the 128th floor, "No matter what you're going through, we Xenos can feel it. I'm not the only one experiencing your emotions." He looks at Nytri.

Nytri stops then sighs, "What should I do?" she lowers her head.

Ivan looks up, "You like Paxius, but he's with Lyra. Even if he wasn't with her, genetics wouldn't allow you to be together. Since he took Lyra's blood and became Azurite, he's more less your child."

"Yeah," Nytri speaks.

"But," Ivan keeps talking, "You still have feelings for him. That's a tough spot to be." He rubs his chin.

"I never expected this," Nytri speaks lowly, "I never expected Azurites to be made."

"Do you regret it?" Ivan asks.

Nytri chuckles, "How could I? You're all my family, I don't regret anything regarding you. But it hurts though."

"I'm certain you'll find someone." Ivan speaks, "Though I wonder how that will work out."

"Huh," Nytri smiles, "What do you mean?"

"Well, to find a partner," Ivan speaks, "The level gap shouldn't be too huge. In your case, it's impossible to be with anyone below level 500. Anyone below that and I doubt offsprings can be made, in a fight you could blow him away even if you don't mean it."

"Yeah," Nytri smiles wryly. She holds her stomach, "Hey Ivan...A while back...I got part of me removed in a fight. Part of my stomach was crushed along with my leg.....I absorbed the monster after freezing it, that's when my race started changing. Even now it says MIST AZURIAN but…what if I'm something else?" She looks worried.

"What about it?" Ivan asks, "It doesn't change who you are. I've known you for all my life and that's a lot to me. If you ended up being a giant Titanosaur no one would care, all we know is Nytri is our creator."

Nytri smiles, "Yeah…..thanks, I feel much better now." She puts an energy orb into the center of the pack she's working on. It hums to life with sparks around it.

Ivan nods, "that's good." He looks up and squints his eyes as if listening to something. "Looks like we discovered something."

"Discovered?" Nytri asks, "What're you talking about?" Nytri looks at him with curiosity.

"We've found life outside of earth." Ivan speaks.

Nytri is shocked but then she remembers the 'Prophecy' from Moti. Ivan speaks, "Strange beings unlike anything on earth. What we're certain of is, they aren't good. 78 has infiltrated them and trying to decipher their language, once we do that, we'll share it with you."

"Looks like they're coming." Nytri speaks. She closes her eyes and recalls the prophecy on the end of the civilization.

Ivan looks at her curiously, "You know them?"

Nytri nods, "Yeah, Aunt Moti showed me a prophecy about them." Ivan thinks 'Aunt Moti' he squints his face in disdain, the Xenos never got along with Alpidopteranox (Moth monsters) They were always trying to breach the Xenos' privacy, mind reading.

Nytri keeps speaking, "That's why I'm building this." She turns it to Ivan, it's an armor of sort with boosters behind it. "According to the prophecy, we'll need a lot of people to fend them off."

Ivan rubs his chin, "So, you're building armors for others."

"Yep," Nytri speaks nodding, "My kin can handle themselves but humanity, no so much. This is also a way to make money." Her pupils turn to currency with a cheeky grin.

Ivan shakes his head, "You do you, I suppose." He smiles leaving Nytri to her devices. When Ivan exits the 129th floor, his demeaner changed. He's now cold and calculating, "Our sole duty is to protect Nytri no matter what. Everyone, make preparations for war." he vanishes from the dungeon.

All the Xenos vanish from the dungeon, their locations are unknown. Those worried speak to them through the Nexusphere but they can't find their actual locations. Anyway, they were no longer worried.

[AU INFO:

- Xenos are Symbiotic Companions to Nytri. If all Xenos die and Nytri is alive, they can be reborn anywhere, anytime. Their appearances aren't similar as they look like various races put together for some reason. Xenos don't need body to survive so even if you manage to kill them they won't die.

- Xenos can generate a body whenever they wish so they don't need the hatchery to create a body.

- Hatchery: A facility in Dialdelios where artificial bodies are created. If anyone dies and their soul is taken to the Nexusphere, they can be brought back to life in the Hatchery. A little physio is recommended but aside from that, they are reborn without getting weaker.

- Xenos Level are fixed to Nytri's, if her level is 100 all Xenos are level 100.

- Current races made by Nytri according to strength: Azurian, Xeno, Azurite.

- Azurians are the closest in terms of Bloodline to Nytri. They're loyal to Nytri although she barely gives any orders. Azurites are next in terms of bloodline, they obey Nytri but they're loyalty is to the Paxius. Xenos do not have bloodline so Nytri has no way to control them, they can also choose to refuse her orders. But Xenos act based on Nytri's desires, even ones she hasn't realized herself.]
