124. Humiliation

Caden grits his teeth clearly enraged, veins are popping on his forehead and moustache. "YOU DARE-" Kael takes a step and immense pressure falls on Caden making him fall on his butt, he does crawl away like centipede looking at the giants. He stops when he's out of the way and grabs his chest, he hears his heartbeat as loud as a dragon's roar right beside him. The guards also stand aside and the party walks away.

Nytri and her party arrive at the guild, they enter and Nytri gets down to pick a quest. She walks up to the counter and see Liara, she notices Nytri and smiles at her speaking. "Nytri! How are you?"

"I'm great!" Nytri replies with a bright smile.

Liara smiles and has a satisfied grin for some reason, "Now, what can I do for you, Nytri?"

Nytri looks at the quest board, "We want a subjugation quest or something so the others can exercise a bit."

Liara tilts her head in thought, "Well, she does have strong bodyguards but they're gold class. The guild master did say they can be Orichalcum or even Platinum class, so there's no harm with that quest." Liara picks a quest from below her desk, "We do have a quest to subjugate a troll nest that recently formed. It's mating season for them so they tend to attack people."

Nytri reads the quest, "I think this is good. Thank you!" Liara smiles and waves at Nytri as she walks to her party.

Suddenly, a shout comes from outside. "Seize them!" Caden is seen at the entrance of the guild. Everyone looks at the entrance as knights march into the building. The guild master notices trouble and tries to mitigate it though he seems to be in horrible shape. Since Nytri returned, her presence has caused the Abyssal Ice injury to be active slowly killing him. He stands before the knights.

"Stand aside!" A knight orders the guild master.

The guild master looks at the knight, "I'm Adamantine class, do you think you can stop me." He stands tall. No one notices he's hurt pretty bad and he continues, "What is the meaning of this?!"

A knight walks up to him, "This group is hereby placed under arrest for assaulting a noble and creating disorder. They are to be taken to prison until they are tried."

"Nonsense!" Guild master retorts, he's about to speak and Kaida hold's his shoulder. "Huh?" he looks at Kaida. Sylwia with normal human size walks up to a knight, he makes a move to grab her and she gives him a roundhouse kick. *BAM* the knight summersaults in the air about 5 times before falling.

The other knights grab their swords and they see Lilia make a 4 runic circle, it's an ominous circle capable of scaring a child. The knights refrain from moving but Lilia still casts the spell, the first 2 are instantly covered in a black aura. They fall to the ground choking whilst holding their throat, the force their helmets off and their face is seen. Their face is sunken with foam forming at their mouth as they lay on the floor. Lilia covers her laughter, "Huhuhu."

Murmur fills the room, "She's a 4th tier mage?! That spell is too much!" Those who wanted to stick up for Nytri and her party are frozen at what Lilia did. The remaining knights are hesitant to move but Rhydderch does. He moves like a flash and appears outside the building, he sheathes his sword with a grin. The swords and armor fall off piece by piece with sharp edges too. Sylwia is before a knight, she raises her leg high and swings down smashing his nose it. Kael stops them just in time before someone dies. Silence fills the room and Caden shivers like a chicken in the cold.

Kael sighs, "Return to wherever you came from, we'd prefer not to kill anyone by accident." The knights rush to their feet and ran away with Caden in the lead. Sylwia heals the 2 paralyzed knights and her appeal before people rises, 'she's a strong healer' is what people think of her.

Nytri has been staring at the guild master this entire time, the guild master soon notices it and he raises a brow. He smiles at her, "Don't worry about this, I'll find a way to deal with this somehow." In his thought, "Hopefully this reaches the king and he blows it away."

Nytri walks up to him and he looks down to her speaking, "What's wrong young lady?"

Nytri's eyes light up and he sees the symbols inside (COMBAT MODE), "CHRONOKINESIS, ILLUSORY." Time stops and their surroundings move as if in a different dimension but the same place.

The guild master is shocked out of his wits, he notices the some of the Azurians can move but 3 can't. He looks at Nytri, "Who are you?"

Nytri stand on her toes and looks into his eyes, "You were there that day, weren't you?" Guild master is confused, Nytri gazes at his ribs and makes the same ice in her hand.

Guild master takes a step back in fear, "W…w…w….w…" He recalls the dungeon break in the Abyssal Sanctum and his fight with the Automaton

"Looks like it was a misunderstanding." Nytri speaks, Nytri swipes her finger and the ice growing on the guild master vanishes as if it was never there. Nytri smiles, "You're a really good person, I'm glad you could survive this long."

Guild master feels a surge of power in him none like before, "I…I….I'm stronger?!" he notices Nytri turning to leave, "Wait!" Nytri stops and he speaks, "Are you…..a god?"

Nytri looks at him with a blank face and speaks flatly, "A god? Don't insult me." Guild masters jaw drops wide. Nytri walks and time moves normal again, she joins the Azurian and they leave building.

Guild master is frozen on the spot, people notice his strange behavior. Liara walks up to him, "Guild master, are you alright?"

Guild master's thoughts, "The demon we faced in the dungeon, all those years ago was her. And from her tone, she considers being called a god an insult?" He bursts out laughing surprising people, he looks up. "Truly fate has it's way around things." His thoughts, "To think our greatest fear, is a kind little girl. My only regret is not resolving this through words the first time we met. I'm certain Gi would've enjoy this news." He turns back and walks to his office still smiling.

- CHRONOKINESIS: Control over time, principles governing skill are extremely complicated so Nytri never uses on someone stronger than her and conscious of time manipulation. But using on objects, there's barely any restriction.

- ILLUSORY: Reality skill that can turn illusion real or real illusion. Consumes insane amounts of EP to maintain and not suitable for combat.

- Nytri released the Abyssal Ice growing on the guild master and actually managed to level him up to Mythical rank (Level 121-150) on the scale used by the guild. But on Nytri's scale, he's SSS rank (Level 40-49)

- Nytri's scale is higher because it also factors in gods and Rulers/Calamities. SO the strongest human with Level 199 which is champion/lord (hero/demon) is level 79 on Nytri's scale.
