Orin Stonewood rises from a prestigious smithing family in the Astral Kingdom. Wealth, recognition, excellence, and charisma - he had it all. But life from twenty-five ended on such terms for him. He falls victim to a dark ritual. The fate after this mystery was to rise and fall in every life he reincarnates in. The ninth reincarnation made him Zmey Ashbane. Into a world of terrifying, exciting tales. It seemed as if every encounter in this world wanted to tie him down for some reason. But he knew his goal. To break free from the ritual and rise as a master of fate, not its pawn.

(The book has a slow progression. If, after reading up to chapter 100, nothing in this story interests you, that means it isn’t for you.)
Due to the progression, I will lock the novel at chapter 60.
This book is absolutely amazing. The author has done such a fantastic job building the world 👏🏻 it’s complex yet so intriguing that I couldn’t stop reading. Exorcists and beast tamers, necrot, the cities, the academy—it all feels so alive and immersive. And the way beast tamers tame beasts? Like, damn 💀. It’s so detailed and creative! The characters are another highlight. They all have their own distinct personalities and absolutely have depth. The way the author portrays their feelings is so real and impactful—it’s easy to connect with them and understand their struggles, joys, and everything in between. The world-building and character work are so strong that I don’t mind the slow pace at all. It feels like the kind of story that’s setting up for something epic, and I’m fully on board for the long ride. I wouldn’t be surprised if this hits 500+ chapters. Definitely worth the read!
Reveal Spoiler
This story captivates me with its unique take on reincarnation. Orin Stonewood's journey as Zmey Ashbane, a dragon emperor, is full of intrigue, sorrow, and powerful choices.
It's a classic trope of being reincarnated as a powerful being or destined to be one. But still, the book / author is giving a story with an MC a proper development not just an overpowered character. Keep it up, Author.
A compelling story and great world building is enough to keep me glued 😋😋😋. Guaranteed to keep you hooked
It just shows how the author has clearly invested immense creativity into this story. From the very first chapter, where Faelen is reincarnated for the ninth and final time down to the current chapter I'm in. I found the concept of reincarnation in the narrative unique and logical. The world-building is rich and immersive, with exorcists, beast tamers, necrot, and the academy all playing key roles. The way beast tamers interact with their beasts is unique and creatively done, making this world feel alive and captivating. The characters are equally well-developed, with distinct personalities that make their emotional journeys feel real and impactful. While the pace is slow, it doesn’t detract from the overall experience. The author’s attention to detail in world-building and character development promises something epic in the long run. I will be waiting for the latest updates Author-nim. 😊
