REVEALING TRANSFORMATION

"HAHAH!!! THERE'S NO USE! I HAVE THE SKY AROUND US COVERED IN DARKNESS, AND YOU TWO CUT OFF FROM YOUR FRIENDS. NOT EVEN THE MOON AND STARLIGHTS WILL REACH YOU!" The Cloak boasts as it holds Amanda up by the throat. Meanwhile Reyna struggled to stand on her feet.

Even though she's scared, Amanda stares back in Cloak's full purple eyes. Not with freight, but determination to fight back. The lack of fear was enough for Cloak to throw her to the ground.

THUD! Amanda fell down forceful enough to crack the cement, and looked up into the pitch black sky with defeat in her eyes.

"If only I could absorb some light…" Amanda says weakfully, and her head falls to the dark cold ground.

As Reyna battled to regain balance on her feet, she heard a peculiar noise. Look over to see a symbol has appeared on the ground.

"Hey Amanda, would any light do? There's some right here!" Reyna yells while wrestling with her body to stand still. At the same time, she was using her club to point out the symbol she found on the ground.

Amanda inspects the source Reyna was talking about, and wiped her eyes out of disbelief.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW THE FAIRY SIGILS?" Amanda yells out of shock. The symbol on the ground was a fairy's sigil of light. One of the topics studied under her fairy parents. Now one of them is drawn on to the ground and illuminating light as powerful as the sun's.

"I heard some noise, and this appeared. Will it work?" Reyna asks again out of desperation.

"I think so, it already feels as if the sigil is soothing my spirit. Only thing is I don't really know how to actually absorb the light." Amanda says, and suddenly she feels an urge to hold her hand out towards the well lit emblem. Suddenly the radiance of the mark started to flow towards Amanda's upper limbs.

"Looks like you do know what you're doing." Reyna remarks as the light charges Amanda.

"AH! Where did that light come from? Stop absorbing it in this instance!" The Cloak yells out of fright, demanding the halt from Amanda. It was too late as Amanda was already taking in the last bit of gleam.

"Oh yeah, that hits the spot. Now I can put you in your place!" Amanda yells as her body overflows with energy. Illuminating the darkness with light that's kindling from her figure.

"OH YEAH? I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY!" The Cloak yells, unclear if he was scared or irritated. It was clear that Amanda recharging her powers and taunting the Cloak riled it up.

"Let me ask you one question first." Amanda demands of Cloaky.

"You regain your powers and suddenly think you're the main character of an anime? GET REAL!" Cloak yells as it shoots out one of its dark boulders. The dark magic covered giant rock rocketed towards Amanda at an amazing speed.

Instead of running or panicking, Amanda stood her ground and stared down the overgrown pebble until it crashed into her. Except it didn't make direct contact, the light illuminating from Amanda destroyed the stone before it could touch her. Turning the giant rock into tons of tiny pebbles raining in front of Amanda.

"Are you the one who's been forcing the fairies to abduct the women and children of towns like this?" Amanda asks The Cloak, unbothered by its attempt to hurt her.

"I don't know what you're talking about." The Cloak responds with an obvious lie.

"I don't believe you! Where did you take those kids?" Amanda demands answers from the evil being.

"HAHAHAH! I guess I could tell you. It's not like you can do anything to stop me. So here's the secret you've been begging for. Those women and children are being transported to one of our labor camps. Where they'll work, breed, and become experiments all for the sake of our lord!" The Cloak boasts about the capture of the women and children. Laughing loud and proud about the evil deeds it described are happening to the victims.

Anger began to boil inside of Amanda and Reyna after hearing the horrible acts done onto the victims.

"You're taking these children and putting them into labor camps? How twisted can you get?" Amanda says to the transgressor with rage spilling out from every word.

"You're deplorable! To be sold off to slavery or for someone's test subject is a fate worse than death!" Reyna yells out to the malefactor.

"How cruel! Not like it matters what you think, you'll all be dead by the time this is over. HAHAHAH!!!" The Cloak says confidently while mocking the two ladies.

"I can't believe this." Amanda says with sorrow.

"SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP!!! THIS IS WHAT YOU AND YOUR BAND OF MISFITS GET FOR RUINING MY MASTERPIECE!!!" The Cloak yells with ire spewing from his tongue.

"To think you would have the innocent fairies kidnap people for such vile acts. First I'm going to free all of them from your control, then I'm going to free the victims you had kidnapped." Amanda's words created an aura of resolution. She wasn't just going to set the fairies free, she was determined to correct all their wrongs.

"No you're not! We are!" Reyna says to her with a smile. Amanda looks her way, smiles, and nods her head. Reyna reflected the salute.

"Enough about the fairies. It doesn't matter if you set them free or not. They're doomed either way." The Cloak taunts them.

"What do you mean?" Amanda asks.

"My corruption sigil doesn't just control one's actions, it truly corrupts their soul. Only the hold my creation has on the fairies keeps them from the full influence. What do you think will happen if I were to lose my grip? Nature will take its course, and then an army of mischievous and scandalous dark elves will run this planet. That's not good, even worse than my army of possessed creatures. DO YOU STILL WANT TO STOP ME? I WELCOME YOU TO TRY!!! THE BEST ARTS LEAVE AN IMPACT ON THE WORLD, AND MINES WILL BE THE GREATEST!!! MWAHAHAHA!!!" The Cloak laughs trying to provoke the heroines.

"Oh, is that all? I saw the fairies' souls being plagued back at the apartment complex with the first sigil. Noticed something was stopping it from fully infecting them, and took that as a chance to use my powers to fully cleanse their souls. They're completely free from your influence as of now!" Amanda explains to the Cloak.

"Your masterpiece isn't going to have as big of an impact as you thought." Reyna yells at the scoundrel, taunting it.

"N..no! Such a change will not go unnoticed by the master, and he will not be pleased. Now I have to wrap this up quickly, and restart from square one. CRAP! I'll have your head for this." Cloak yells out as it holds an arm up facing Amanda.

"Abyssal Enlightenment!" GAWOOH! A black blob shoots out of the Cloak's hand towards Amanda, but she swiftly and effortlessly dodges.

"You're not going to wrap anything up with an aim like that." Amanda pokes fun at Cloak.

"Who said I was aiming for you?" Cloak responds with a vexatious smile fully showing its sharp yellow teeth. Amanda faces Reyna to see the sludge has hit her. Making its way into Reyna's mouth, and forcing its way down her throat as she falls on her knees choking.

"Reyna! Are you ok?" Amanda asks her gagging comrade while running to her side.

"HAHAH!! HOW DOES IT FEEL TO HAVE ME DOWN YOUR THROAT? HAHAHAH!! LIBERATING YES? LET YOUR TRUE NATURE SHOW!!" The Cloak yells to the violently coughing Reyna. His tone was as if he was preaching to her, trying to draw something out.

"Why does he have to say it like that?" Reyna manages to push the words through, even though every other word was followed by vicious coughing.

"What are you doing to her?" Amanda yells demanding answers.

"I'm only setting her true nature free. She's your comrade, right? Comrades shouldn't keep secretsfrom each other. So let's see if you'll accept her for who she truly is? After all, acceptance is another form of art." The Cloak gloats with a gleam in its eyes. Staring at Reyna out of anticipation of what's going to happen.

"No! Amanda, you got to get away. I don't want to hurt you!" Reyna screams out in pain and concern. Suddenly a glowing dark green light engulfed Reyna's body, completely covering her figure. The form of the light began to mold into a different physique.

Not long after the green gleam dimmed down off of Reyna's body, but her skin was now green. That was only the first noticeable change of features. Her ears grew pointed, her body was twice the size with muscle as before, she now has a ripped chest with stand out breasts, her arms are more hulking, and her legs were just screaming tough. The Cloak's spell has changed Reyna into a well-developed orc.

"What did you do?" Amanda gawks at Reyna out of fear as she asks The Cloak.

"Me? I didn't do anything but uplift whatever spell she was using to disguise herself. This is her true identity. You must feel awful to find out your trusted comrade is really a disgusting monster. The question now is, what is she really going to do to you?" The Cloak laughs hysterically.

"RRAAAHHH!!!" Reyna roars ferociously and uncontrollably. As if she was a wild beast about to go on a rampage.

"The only monster I see here is you. This didn't change anything, Reyna, you're still my friend!" Amanda yells out trying to reach the consciousness of her friend. It didn't seem as if her words were getting through, as Reyna was staring her down with rage.

WOOSH! Suddenly Reyna charges at Amanda with incredible speed. Reaching Amanda in a split second, and doesn't hesitate to swing at Amanda with her club.

SMASH! Amanda was able to pull off summoning a wall of light to take the blow. Shattering the manifestation like fragile glass.

PING! Amanda smacked Reyna away from her with a bat made from light.

BAM! Reyna hits the bat from the light with her club, but doesn't succeed in breaking it this time.

BLUB! Suddenly, as if the clash of Reyna's club triggered something, Amanda's light turned into a bubble that captures Reyna inside. Observing Reyna from outside the bubble Amanda notices three things. Reyna is acting more ferociously by swinging her club non-stop at the bubble, her eyes are glowing a dark purple like The Cloak's, and there's a mark on Reyna's forehead. Closer inspection revealed the mark to be the sigil of corruption.

"So that's what you did. Thought I told you that I can undo your sigils. Deprive!" Amanda yells out at Cloak while also giving a command. Immediately the bubble of light made its way into Reyna's mouth and down her throat. Darkness abrupts out of Reyna's mouth and eyes, and ends as quickly as it began. Leaving Reyna to fall to the floor.

"So it's true, you can free the fairies. Damn, it would've been fun to watch that orc fight her friends." The Cloak scowls at Amanda after she easily liberates her friend.

"Amanda…" Reyna's voice was shaken as she called out to her comrade.

"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. I suggest you tell the rest soon though. If they find out about you being an orc the wrong way, things could probably get bloody." Amanda says, assuring Reyna about the security of her secret.

"Thank you, and I will when I'm sure I can trust them." Reyna says as she transforms back into her human form.

"Now I understand why you have green hair, I thought it was some kind of fashion statement." Amanda jokes with Reyna.

"That is so beautiful, how heartwarming. I know, you can tell them all your dirty little secrets when you all meet up in hell. BECAUSE I'M KILLING YOU BOTH HERE AND NOW!" Cloak yells as it creates a colossal ball of dark energy above it.

"Reyna, I got an idea. Can I borrow your club?" Amanda asks.

"Sure." Reyna held out her club and a light began to glow around the wooden weapon. When the armament was completely wrapped in Amanda's magic, it grew in size by ten fold and shaped up like a baseball bat.

"NOW DIE!!! MWAHAHAHAHAA!!" WOOSH!! The Cloak laughs as its giant bombard charges towards the two. CLING!

Amanda uses the magical bat to hit the tremendous amount of dark energy as if it was a baseball. WWWSSSHHH!!! The two attacks collide for a few heart pumping seconds. PEW! Finally she succeeds in deflecting the attack, but she isn't done.

"WHAT? IMPOSSIBLE!" The Cloak yells as it witnesses an act it has never thought possible.

The giant calamitous orb wasn't simply deflected, but also trailed by Amanda's magical light. As it reaches the barrier at an incredible speed, Amanda's power begins to fully consume the thrust even quicker. Turning the giant attack of dark energy, into a giant attack of light energy.

SMASH! Amanda's light storms and breaks the Cloak's pitch black barricade spell. The barrier quickly fades away; rejoining Amanda and Reyna with Trell, Oliver, and…

"Where the hell did that thing come from?" Reyna yells out in disbelief. A giant blue creature with a body and tail like a crocodile, accompanied by arms and legs similar in size and shape to a polar bear's, a face like an electric eel, and two huge crystalline wings that look like a butterfly's was confronting Oliver.

Amanda, Reyna, and Cloak were all shocked by the sight in front of them. The beast was ready to square up with Oliver, and had one of its giant legs on top of an unconscious Trell. Rage fills its face with a diction that it will attack at any moment.

"You have something to do with this, don't you?" Reyna yells at the Cloak.

"Nope, that is not one of my creations." Cloak tells her straightforwardly while also staring at the beast. Answering Reyna allowed Cloak to immediately grab the monster's attention. The monster stares at Cloak for one second,

"ROAR!!" The brute's snarl was loud, powerful, and frightening. Simultaneously the colossal vermin charges towards the villain.

"AH! PROTECT ME!" Cloak yells in a panic towards Reyna.

"Hell no. Have fun." Reyna responds while pushing Cloak on the back towards the storming beast.

"Fine, who needs an ogre? Not me." The Cloak's voice deepens in mid-sentence as it transforms to face off with the beast. Taking its shape as a bodybuilder with height to match the creature.

BAM! The Cloak punches the beast in the face with a fist made of shadows. It didn't slow down the beast.

SMASH! The monster responds by also punching the Cloak in the face, but this time it was more effective. THUD! Sending the Cloak crashing into the ground. Amanda and Reyna use this distraction to run up to Oliver.

"Oliver, where did that thing come from?" Amanda asks him, hoping for some clarification.

"Thine brute tis Jace. Eftsoons the skelm trapeth thee damsels, Jace transmuted into the foul beast before us. Trell attempted to confronteth thou deor, atlas felleth to its vigor." Oliver explains to them in an archaic language. Thankfully Amanda understood him.

"No way!" Amanda looks over to where Jace's body was laying before she was captured, and he was gone. There was no sign of anything harming him more than what was already done.

"What did he say?" Reyna asks, sounding more confused than before hearing Oliver's answer.

"That monster is Jace. After that creep trapped us, Jace transformed into that. Trell stepped up to face him, but got his ass handed to him. Is that about right?" Amanda confirms with Oliver nodding his head in approval.

"Why did Trell attack him? Did Jace wake up attacking you guys?" Reyna asks. Everyone looks over towards the fight as they suddenly hear buzzing followed by a BAM! Jace slaps Cloak with a tail now covered by electricity.

"No, Jace awoketh act of rage storming the dark barrier. Thoweth Jace tooketh aim for ya'll, Trell sprangeth into action." Oliver narrates for the girls.

"Trell already didn't like Jace, this is about to complicate things." Amanda told them while shaking her head.

SMASH! BAM! SMASH! Jace had Cloak by the head with one hand and pounded it into the ground like a hulking green hero did in a film about assembled super heroes. POW! Finishing off his electrifying combo with a tail smack that sent Cloak crashing next to the trio.

"Why ain't he aiming for ya'll?" The Cloak cries out of pain. Reyna and Oliver both burst out laughing at the sight of its pain.

"Stop it guys, I'm starting to feel bad." Amanda says while frowning at it.

"Come on, don't show no compassion for this thing. It almost killed Jace and Oliver, you said it did something to the fairies, and if it was us in this position it would be laughing its ass off." Reyna tells her trying to sooth Amanda's emotions.

" So? Doesn't mean we have to be the same way. Did you see what he just did to it? That's like something out of a movie, plus I really don't like seeing Jace like this." Amanda explains to her.

"True, but how would we stop him?" Reyna asks.

"Did you say that thing is the boy I thought I killed?" Cloak asks them.

"Yeah, apparently he transformed after you tried to separate us from the rest." Amanda tells them.

"Unbelievable, a shen awakening and it's coming after me." Cloak says, sounding as if it accepted defeat.

"I thought you didn't have anything to do with this." Reyna says, looking at the Cloak like a suspect.

"I don't have anything to do with this. This means your friend has his own separate issues." Cloak says while pointing at Jace, who is currently standing off ready to pounce at it.

"Auditioneth anon upon thou meaning of shen awakening!" Oliver yells at Cloak.

"I don't know what you're saying." Cloak responds to him.

"Best you let me do the talking Oliver. He said tell us what you meant when you said shen awakening." Amanda translated for them.

"That means your friend made a deal with a demon to come back to life." Cloak explains to them.
