Li An straightened her posture, her refined demeanor hinting at her imperial roots. Though clad in simple garments befitting her role as a leader of this fledgling village, she exuded a commanding presence.

"Captain Wei," she began, her voice clear and decisive, "our village is growing, but growth without structure leads to chaos. We need a proper government. That's why I've asked you and Scholar Ling to join me here today."
