Li An spent 3 days in the capital and spent most of it with Concubine Su. She would sometimes visit the slums and the clinic she put up in that place. That particular part of the slums has now developed and a lot of people frequent that place because of the clinic.

The lives of the poor peasants in that place have drastically improved and now it has become a bustling community.

As the 3rd day came, Li An prepared to enter the palace with Concubine Su and her maid Alo.

Upon arriving at the palace gates, Li An could not help but look at the tall walls and the strong-looking soldiers guarding the gates.

She could not help but compare them to the village guards she had personally trained and helped grow.

"Well, from what I could see, the guards in the village seem stronger." Li An murmured.
