Diversion Plan

Shin looked at her, "I know you can't help but think about it. Go back and find something to do, that'll help you forget for a while. I'll do my best."

Char and Arachne have reached the soldiers's camp and Shin returned to his trance. "The wall is bigger than it looked before. Three yards high and filled with arrow slits, we'll get showered if we get close."

Char climbed the wall and crawled through one of the arrow slits, looking directly inside the camp. Five soldiers were doing maintenance to their weapons beside the campfire, several voices could be heard from the tent and even more were walking around patrolling the place.

Just from where Char stood she could see at least twenty people. "There are too many of them." Char crawled into one of the ten small tents and looked inside. Even those small ones were far bigger than the largest ten Shin and the rest brought with them.
