"Quickly changed from wanting me to work for you to traveling with you?" Shin looked at him with a grin and Vesper giggled, "A wise man never sticks to one plan so he could confuse his enemies. I know that you'll never work for me now so my best bet is time and familiarity."
"Fine, but there is something important we must talk about." Shin stood and looked at Mary, "Can we just finish our trip here?"
Mary stared at him with a smug face, "Was this your plan from the start?"
"No…but doesn't this mean we don't have to go to the capital now?" Shin looked at Shin, "Since you're in a higher standing than the king then telling you should be better."
Shin and Ase told Vesper about what happened in the fort, how they were imprisoned by the empire, how the dragon attacked, the fact they barely managed to escape with their lives, and that the cursed black dragon had headed deep into the kingdom's land, heading toward the midlands.
