Hunting In The Mountains

The drake mother, the biggest of them all, the strongest drake. Like most social animals, drakes who looked like giant draconic crocodiles resembled wolves in their behavior, albeit a bit different. 

The drakes hunted in packs, but no more than a dozen of them could be seen together, and sometimes they even hunted solo. Based on the individual's age and needs, males who wanted to impress a mate usually hunted solo.

The drakes' mother is what the people call the Alpha of the drakes, usually a large female twice the size of other drakes with large wings growing out of her back and an extra row of teeth in her massive and horrifying maw. Those wings allowed the drake mother to glide down from cliffs but she couldn't fly thanks to how heavy she was.
