Elise vs. Trinity Shogun

The air crackled with oppressive energy as the hidden arena within Trinity's office took shape. The dark reflections of the mirrored walls gave the illusion of an infinite space. Elise locked eyes with Trinity, her heart pounding frantically as her mind analyzed every possible strategy.

She knew one thing: a frontal assault would be suicidal. Trinity was on another level. Her physical strength alone was five times greater than Elise's, not to mention her debt-related powers. Elise had to be clever.

First Assault – Speed vs. Power

Elise vanished instantly. Her stealth teleportation placed her right behind Trinity, her hand striking toward the back of her neck. But Trinity didn't even flinch. A fraction of a second before impact, Elise felt an overwhelming pressure crash down on her, as if her own body refused to obey.

— "Your debt begins now."

Elise quickly retreated, using her intangibility to phase through the floor and reposition herself at a distance. Her fingers trembled slightly. She didn't fully understand what had just happened, but she knew Trinity had already marked her.

— "You feel that weight, don't you?" Trinity continued, stepping forward slowly. "Every movement, every effort you make… they become heavier. That is the nature of my Debt Mark."

Elise gritted her teeth. If she kept fighting normally, she risked being paralyzed under this "invisible debt." She needed a plan.

Second Assault – Diversion and Adaptation

Elise activated her instant camouflage, blurring her silhouette like a shifting shadow. At the same time, she temporarily duplicated several small projectiles—throwing knives, metal shards—and scattered them around Trinity.

Then, in perfect sync, she teleported multiple copies of herself around her opponent. A decoy, a game of mirrors.

— "Amusing," Trinity murmured, simply raising her hand.

Elise's shadows froze. A cold sensation gripped her mind. Payment Extraction.

Elise gasped. Her reflexes… were slipping away.

— "You want to play the ghost? Then I'll take your stealth, just to see how it feels."

Trinity had just "stolen" one of her abilities temporarily. A wave of dizziness hit Elise as she realized her camouflage had faded. Now fully visible, she had no choice but to retreat, barely dodging a kick that shattered the ground beneath it.

Third Assault – The Huntress and the Thief

Now Elise understood: every move against Trinity had a cost. But could she steal something from her in return?

She let Trinity approach, feigning exhaustion. Then, at the last moment, she reached out and activated her temporary energy theft.

— "Let's see how it feels to be robbed too."

A dark pulse surged between them. Elise suddenly felt a strange power surge within her… and the crushing weight on her body vanished. She had just stolen a fraction of Trinity's strength.

She didn't think—her body, accelerated by this newfound energy, moved on instinct. In an instant, her fist shot forward… and struck Trinity directly.

The impact was strong enough to send Trinity skidding backward, cracking the ground beneath her feet.

Silence fell. Elise panted, her fist still trembling. This was… the first time she had ever landed a hit on Trinity.

But as the dust settled, Trinity slowly stood up, wiping a thin trail of blood from the corner of her lips.

And she was smiling.

— "Fascinating."

The arena trembled once more. This time, Elise knew—the real fight was about to begin.
