Ch 79:Warehouse

Arthur stretched as he sat up in bed, rubbing his eyes before focusing on the Gacha wheel in front of him. With a flick of his finger, the wheel spun rapidly, flashing through various rewards before slowing down and stopping on the first prize—a sleek, silver ring.

Picking it up, he examined the description:

[Ring of Power]

Increases overall power by 20% when worn.

Grants a 1 in 100 chance to land a critical hit dealing 200% damage.

Arthur whistled. "Not bad. A straight-up power boost, and the crit chance could be useful in a fight." He slid the ring onto his finger, feeling a slight surge of energy before spinning the wheel again.

The second prize materialized in his hands, a small, cube-like device that pulsed with faint light. A notification popped up:

[Customizable AI Assistant]

A fully adaptable AI that can assist in daily tasks, calculations, research, and combat analysis.

Can be customized in personality, appearance (holographic projection), and functions.

Arthur's eyes widened. "Oh, this could be fun. Maybe I should make an AI butler? Or a sassy AI like those in sci-fi movies." He pocketed the device for later customization before spinning the wheel one last time.

The final reward glowed as information surged into his mind.

[Technical & Mechanical Knowledge]

Grants mastery over machinery, engineering, and technology.

Allows for the creation, repair, and modification of complex systems, from basic electronics to advanced robotics.

Arthur clutched his head as a flood of schematics, formulas, and blueprints flooded his brain. Within seconds, he understood how to assemble a car engine, design a security system, and even build high-tech weaponry.

As the rush subsided, he exhaled. "Damn… that's a really good haul."

Feeling more awake now, he got up, got dressed, and stepped out of his apartment. Today was another important day—he needed to find a workspace for their game project.

Riding through the city on his bike, he checked out a few listings he had saved earlier. Some were too small, others too expensive, and a few were simply in bad locations. After a couple of hours of searching, he decided to try a different approach.

"Maybe a repurposed warehouse would work," he muttered. With his new Technical & Mechanical Knowledge, he could modify and optimize any space to fit their needs.

With that in mind, he started heading toward the industrial district, hoping to find the perfect spot.

---

Arthur continued exploring the industrial district, scanning for any warehouse that could serve as their workspace. Most of the buildings were either too rundown or too expensive, but after some time, he stumbled upon a seemingly abandoned warehouse.

It was spacious, with high ceilings and enough room for multiple workstations. The structure looked solid, though a bit dusty. Arthur grinned, already imagining how he could modify it using his newfound technical expertise.

"Alright, this might just work," he muttered, stepping inside to inspect the place further.

Arthur walked deeper into the warehouse, checking its layout. The space had an office area, a large open floor, and even a small storage room. With some cleaning and a few modifications, it could become the perfect workspace.

He took out his phone and called Utaha. "Hey, I think I found a good place. Wanna come check it out?"

Utaha, intrigued, agreed to meet him there. As Arthur waited, he smirked. With his new mechanical knowledge, setting up the perfect studio wouldn't be a problem.

---

As Arthur waited at the warehouse, he heard footsteps approaching. Turning around, he saw Utaha and Tomoya walking toward him, both looking around with curiosity.

"So, this is the place?" Tomoya asked, inspecting the spacious interior.

Arthur nodded. "Yeah, it needs some work, but with a bit of cleaning and setup, it'll be perfect."

Utaha crossed her arms. "Not bad. It's private, spacious, and has potential. How do you plan to furnish it?"

Arthur smirked. "Leave that to me."

After asking around the locals and getting in contact with the owner, Arthur officially purchased the warehouse. With the paperwork completed, he walked back inside, taking in the vast, open space that would soon become their creative hub.

Tomoya looked impressed. "You really went ahead and bought it just like that?"

Arthur shrugged. "It was a good deal. Now, we just need to furnish it and set everything up."

Utaha smirked. "Efficient as always. So, what's next?"

Arthur stretched. "Next? We start turning this place into the best game studio ever. Just give me a week."

Tomoya raised an eyebrow. "A week? That's ambitious."

Arthur grinned. "I work fast."

Utaha crossed her arms. "You sure you don't have a team of construction workers hidden somewhere?"

Arthur chuckled. "Let's just say I have my ways."

Tomoya sighed. "Well, if you can actually pull it off, that'd be amazing."

Arthur nodded. "Alright, you two focus on the game. Leave the setup to me. In a week, this place will be ready for business."

With that, he got to work, already planning the transformation in his mind.

---

After Utaha and Tomoya left Arthur created 50 clones of himself with altered appearances.

"Alright team you got a week I want this place clean, the walls reinforced and make sure this place looks like a game developing company, split up, buy stuff and use everything you can magic too I want this place ready in a week."

One of the clones narrowed his eyes and asked "Isn't this considered slavery"

Arthur turned to him and said. "Not really y'all are me and its not like ill not work ill work too well sometimes anyway, chop chop times ticking."

The clones gave Arthur a mix of amused and exasperated looks, but they got to work without further complaints. Some began cleaning, others reinforced the structure using both tools and magic, while a few left to purchase furniture, computers, and decorations.

Arthur stretched. "Well, I did say I'd work too…" He looked around, then nodded. "Time for a coffee break."

A clone deadpanned. "You just started."

Arthur waved him off. "Delegation is an important skill, my friend."

And with that, the transformation of the warehouse began.

-1 Week Later-

Arthur crossed his arms, admiring the transformed warehouse. "My masterpiece," he declared proudly.

One of his clones scoffed. "We did all the work."

Another nodded. "You took naps, ordered takeout, and occasionally pointed at things."

Arthur waved them off. "Supervising is a skill. Besides, I made you guys, so technically, it's still my work."

The clones groaned but couldn't argue. Arthur smirked, then clapped his hands. "Alright, time to get the team in here and officially kickstart our company!"

---

Arthur sent out invitations to everyone, marking the official opening of Blessing Studios. Kessoku Band, Utaha, Eriri, Megumi, Tomoya, and even Jōichirō—who had some free time—arrived at the newly renovated warehouse.

As everyone stepped inside, they were left speechless. The once rundown warehouse had been completely transformed. The storage area had been converted into a fully equipped kitchen, while the cluttered office space now stood as a professional recording studio.

Utaha and Tomoya, who had seen the original state of the place, were especially shocked.

"This… this is unreal," Tomoya muttered, running a hand along one of the new desks.

Utaha glanced at Arthur. "Did you even sleep while doing all this?"

Arthur grinned. "Who needs sleep when you have determination?"

Everyone continued to explore the transformed warehouse, Eriri examined the sleek workstations, while Megumi quietly admired the minimalist yet cozy atmosphere.

"This is impressive," Jōichirō said, inspecting the kitchen. "You even included high-end appliances. Thinking about opening a side business?"

Arthur chuckled. "Nah, just making sure we have good food while we work. Can't create games on an empty stomach."

Tomoya turned to Arthur. "Seriously, how did you do all this in just a week?"

Arthur smirked. "Trade secret."

Megumi who had been silently observing everything asked Arthur. "How much did all of this cost?"

Arthur casually replied "Approx 2.5 billion yen."

...

...

...

Megumi blinked, processing the number. "Wait… Did you just say 2.5 billion yen?"

Arthur casually nodded. "Yeah, give or take a few million."

The room fell silent. Even Kessoku Band, who had been admiring the recording equipment, turned to stare at him.

Utaha shook her head. "Arthur, are you secretly the heir to some conglomerate?"

Arthur chuckled. "Nah, I just have my ways."

Tomoya groaned. "We really shouldn't question it, should we?"

Arthur grinned. "Nope. Now, let's focus on the game."

Megumi sighed. "Well, at least we have an amazing studio…"

---

A week later, Arthur stood in the center of the studio, staring at the massive project unfolding before him. What was supposed to be a simple visual novel had somehow morphed into a full-blown open-world game.

Arthur crossed his arms. "Okay, someone explain to me—when did this turn into an open-world game?"

Tomoya scratched the back of his head, looking anywhere but at Arthur. "Well… since we had the equipment, and you knew how to do it, we figured—why not?"

Arthur ran a hand down his face. "I get that, but why am I the one in the motion capture suit?"

Tomoya coughed awkwardly. "Well… since you're funding everything, we thought it was only fair you contribute a little."

Arthur gave him a flat look. "By making me the model for the protagonist?"

Utaha smirked. "Oh, don't be so dramatic. You fit the role perfectly."

Arthur exhaled through his nose. "I feel like I'm getting scammed."

Eriri grinned. "Come on, don't complain. You're the one who made all of this possible."

Arthur adjusted the uncomfortably tight suit. "Fine. But if I have to suffer, I'm dragging all of you down with me."

Arthur sighed, rolling his shoulders in the tight motion capture suit. "Since I'm stuck in this ridiculous thing, I might as well make some adjustments."

Tomoya visibly paled. "W-what kind of adjustments?"

Arthur smirked. "Oh, nothing major. Just a few hidden easter eggs, some creative animations—little things."

Tomoya's eye twitched. "You're not going to turn the protagonist into a walking meme, right?"

Arthur chuckled. "Relax. It's all in good fun. Besides, don't you want your game to be iconic?"

Tomoya wasn't sure if he should be thrilled or terrified.
