Going On Date (3)

Claire and Fein looked at each other sharply, they were already preparing with cards in hand to start their basketball match.

"3..2..1.. Start!" exclaimed Lucy, giving them the signal.

The two swiped their cards and the basketball game began. Each of them managed to put the ball into their basket and scored the same.

However, in the middle of the game, Claire felt quite tired because he was too excited.

"What is this, huh? You're just going to give up? You're 3 points behind me."

"Tch, I'm just giving you a momentary taste of victory! I can definitely beat that score of yours!" said Claire as he continued to throw the ball.

Their match was so intense, it even became a spectacle for the few people who were there. Now Fein's points reached 45, while Claire was still at 43.

Until finally, the match was finished with Fein 1 score ahead of Claire.

"50-51.. I think we know who the winner is," said Reina.

"Heh, he's just being lucky. If I make him lose, he'll cry to his mama," Claire retorted irritably.

"Then let's prove it one more time! With..." Claire's dark blue eyes glanced at each side of the game room, and finally stopped on one of the game machines. "Boxing machine! Whoever gets the most points wins," he continued, challenging Fein again.

For a moment Claire was speechless considering that Fein was actually an Alpha, surely his punches would be hard, but that did not dampen his spirits at all.

'I'm used to beating up some people, I'm sure my punches are strong too!'

Fein rolled his eyeballs then approached the boxing machine followed by the others. He swiped his card and started preparing to punch.

The points on the screen continued to increase rapidly until it finally stopped at 1200 points.

'H-he... So strong--' thought Claire in surprise, who was currently trying to remain calm. He didn't expect Fein's punch to be that hard.

The two girls who were with them were also amazed at the strength of the blow Fein gave.

Fein pressed his finger. "Now it's your turn."

"Alright, it's easy. I can definitely beat you!"

The silver-haired man prepared to punch after swiping his card, gathering all his concentration Claire hit the bag on the machine as hard as he could.

The points continued to rise rapidly, but stopped very quickly before reaching Fein's points.

The loud kick caused a loud sound as well. It made the three of them a little surprised to see Claire who was upset. The points on the machine continued to rise drastically until it reached 1225.

Fein, who was watching, could only shrug his shoulders. He was already bored with the game at hand.

There was awkwardness between the four of them. Lucy racked her brains so that their date wouldn't be ruined. So she suggested going out for lunch, since it was already lunchtime. Maybe then things would get better again.

Reina agreed with Lucy's idea and took their respective partners to a cafe that they had planned from the start.

They arranged their seats so that Claire and Fein did not sit opposite or next to each other.

For the first few minutes, they were still enjoying the atmosphere of the cafe. The food and drinks they ordered even tasted good.

"No wonder it's always crowded, the food here is delicious and it looks nice too," Lucy praised.

"Right, maybe next time I'll come here again, with someone of course." Claire closed his eyes, imagining coming there with his lover.

Lucy, who heard Claire's words, felt that maybe Claire would invite her there again.

Claire snorted in annoyance at Fein's remark to him. He ignored it and just ate his parfait irritably.

"How does the ice cream taste, Fein?" Reina asked Fein. Trying to find a topic of conversation.

"Hmn..." the man's response was just a quiet clearing of his throat.

The woman was speechless as Fein's response was just like that. She knew Fein didn't want to join the date in the first place, but somehow he changed his mind since he knew the date would be with Claire and Lucy.

"I see your hand shows that Claire will be someone great," Lucy said as if trying to read Claire's palm. The man just laughed at that.

He took Lucy's hand and held it. "Lucy's hands are very soft and smooth. It's very comfortable to hold."

"I-is that so?" The blonde girl's face immediately turned red when Claire said that.

Fein who had been busy eating his ice cream started to get annoyed with the two of them romanticizing in front of him. Without saying anything, he got up from his chair and walked out of the cafe.

"Ehh?! Fein! Fein where are you going?!" said Reina in surprise, trying to chase Fein but being held back by Lucy.

"Pay your share first with Fein, don't just leave like that!"

Reina hurriedly took out her money and placed it on the table.

"I'll call you back!" She left running after Fein who left first.

Actually, Reina was also jealous of her best friend, Lucy who could easily get close to the guy she liked.

"Why did your friend is willing to date a strange alpha like Fein. It's obvious that a guy like that wouldn't be serious," Claire commented.

"You're right, I myself am also confused as to why she chose Fein who obviously has a reputation for being very cold. Well Claire, since it's just the two of us now... Want to try something interesting~?"
