Null began pondered but put it in his list of questions.

But for now he decided to address one question lingering in his head.

"System, why does my body heal abnormally fast?"

Then the system answered with out hesitation.

"But, don't you give me traits similar to meta abilities, durability Meta's lose their regenerative speed but in turn haste Meta's have increased regeneration, so wouldn't my regeneration be... Average." Null asked.

[Meta abilities awaken from need and distress, hormones and more will trigger a gene, that gene will become a Meta gene it will spread across the whole body changing the host, the same process follows with those who obtain MG serum's. This changes the fundamental base of the host but doesn't entirely do so or the host would not blend in with human society.]

"Basically I am the same... improved? That's what you said correct?" Null said inquisitively.

It was nice to know he had an advantage against Meta's... physically atleast.

But on the weaponry and powers department he was heavily lacking. If one considered the "Dash" skill a ability, it... didn't matter one bit, "Dash" is going to be useful against the current enemies

The students are about to have a rude awakening and with that they will change to survive the situation that is about to happen.

Null thought it would be more but, maybe he was over expecting. Probably because his been getting a lot of rewards... on the usual.

But it was daunting, was there not anything else...

Displeased he asked a different question.

'Will i be getting cards easily.'

With that Null understood.

Null learned from the few times the system gave him a quest it would depend on the current situation, but...

It hasn't given him any Quest even though the start of the S. O. T. F project already began.

'So the system was baby feeding me... how nice.'

Null brought up his stats and began placing points in his attributes.

He had twenty five points so he decided to get it over with.

Null decided he wanted to get a boost of a decent amount but he didn't expect to feel... so strong.

Null with this an understanding of the system stats was built, it seemed that by every two points in a stat he jumped to the next 'Refinement'

Refinement's are the training, building and forging of one's ability to the next stage or Refinement, when they reach it, the Meta will feel a large improvement in there ability, making it more rather than different.

Example a earth Grade 1 meta in the first refinement Meta, proceed's to the second refinement. It will make the Meta's earth that they control tougher and faster.

While if the same Meta, grows too Grade 2, unlike in grade 1, where grade one's need to carry earth with them, grade two's can control near by earth, than grade three's become able to produce that specific element. While refinement's increased the durability, strength and speed of the element.

It increased the potency...

This happen's Five times.

The first refinement being named...

Foundation: this is the stage where, the base of the ability start's out, then it grows from there.

Escalation: This is the stage where the ability begins to climb higher, stronger and defined.

Apex Approache: This is the stage where, the gains significant power, more than the other last Refinement's.

Pinnacle: This is the stage where the ability gain's another increase in power, and the Meta will feel there ability close to entering into the next stage.

Zenith: is where the Meta can break through into the next grade, but there are others who decide to continue refine on called.

Rampant Refiner's

But it doesn't seem he can do that with the system.

So the stats go by.

Strength:27[Pinnacle]

Strength:29[Zenith]

But now his Strength is 30.

Meaning his Strength, is comparable to a Grade 2 Strength-meta in the Foundation refinement.

Increasing Will, is going to help him against Nightmare as the system has shown that Will, is able to help him resist his ability so this was a necessity.

[ ENDURANCE: 27>>>30 ]

Again he has the same reason as before, Null's thought process here is, 1 HP of a Grade 10 durability-meta, could be equivalent to a hundred HP of a Grade 1 durability meta.

And he was more firm in his decision, he saw the arrow that pierced him decimated Ezze's shoulder.

[ SENSES: 15>>>20 ]

Null didn't have a solid reason for placing points in his Senses stat but the moment he did he understood how useful it can be.

He moved his hand in front of him and saw his hand move much slower.

Then he closed his eyes and felt...

The Air?

He raised his hand, he felt the air part.

He rubbed his tips feeling the ridges of his skin.

Then he opened his eyes, as his senses dulled.

'I have to learn how to restrict my senses by myself, so better now than ever.' then he proceeded to let his senses spread free.

'And in turn, i have to get familiar to my current senses.'

Then Null looked at the reminder of the 25 stat points.

'I think i would rather keep these with me, to adapt to the situation.' Null looked at his stat's with a smile.

Null's current strength would make him among the strongest of...

The average...

Why because the strongest are those who are comparable to Michael.

While Ezze is among those in the Middle of the hierarchy... the average.

And Null is among the strongest...

Plural.

He isn't stronger than Ezze, who would be close to being among the strongest of the average students in the military.

Like Sira.

So Null understood, his first step is to get to Ezze's level of power than, surpass that..

But one step at a time...
