Don’t Drink and Drive; You Can Ride a Horse Instead

Although Thor didn't catch the exact details of the Destroyer's explosion, the scene where the Batmobile burst through the wall and sent the Destroyer flying was unforgettable to him.

Thor also felt some gratitude toward the person who had not only knocked the Destroyer away but also defeated it, considering it was a mess he brought to Earth.

To be fair, while Thor isn't the sharpest, he knew he had to show respect to an Earthling who could defeat the Destroyer.

"I'm giving him respect, not because I'm scared of you," Thor snorted at Su Ye before turning to check on the fallen Warriors Three.

"Who cares?" Su Ye shrugged, tossing the shield back to Batman on the rooftop and shouting,

"Thanks for the shield, it worked great. Can you sell me a few?"

Batman caught the shield, flipped it under his cape, and replied in a deep voice, "Sorry, it's not for sale."

"So stingy," Su Ye said, spreading his hands as he turned toward the Shiranui Dojo.

This self-amusement, like performing a comedy routine for others, was pretty entertaining. Too bad Spider-Man was too far away; otherwise, they could have made it a trio act.

"Chaos Technique of the Extreme Spirit"

After the recent battle, the dojo was half-ruined, with its walls covered in countless cracks, resembling spider webs.

"Who should I ask for compensation for this house?"

As he spoke, Su Ye turned to Thor, who had already roused the Warriors Three and was exchanging tearful glances with his comrades.

Seeing Thor's return, the Warriors Three were overjoyed, nearly crying as they seemed ready to tell him how they were bullied and ask him for vengeance.

Sif, who had remained conscious all along, stayed calm and said to Thor solemnly, "We've been away from Asgard for a long time. No one knows what's happening there."

Thor nodded after hearing her, "You're right. We should leave."

After saying this, he glanced at Su Ye again, as if committing the man who had fought him to a draw to memory forever.

"I'll be back!"

Su Ye resisted the urge to roll his eyes. That's a line you should be telling Jane Foster, not me, for God's sake.

Meanwhile, on the outskirts, Jane and Darcy Lewis had reunited. One was brought in by S.H.I.E.L.D. to talk to Thor, while the other had traveled all the way from New Mexico to New York with Sif and the Warriors Three.

However, both were conveniently ignored at the moment.

"So, how's it going with Thor? Slept with him yet? Satisfied?" Darcy Lewis asked, winking suggestively.

Jane shook her head, "You wouldn't want to experience it. It's not about satisfaction; it's like touching the heavens!"

Darcy tilted her head, wearing a 'Are you kidding me?' expression, and said, "So, you're going to ascend to the heavens and become a goddess with him?"

Jane seriously pondered for a moment, "Depends on what he wants."

As they spoke, a rainbow beam suddenly descended from the sky into the courtyard, illuminating all the nearby buildings with a dazzling array of colors.

But Jane and Darcy's expressions froze.

"Is it Thor? He's leaving without even saying goodbye?" Darcy looked indignant.

Jane stood frozen, unsure of how to respond.

In the courtyard, as the rainbow bridge's light faded and left its mark on the ground, Su Ye turned to Phil Coulson, who was walking over briskly, and shouted, "You guys are covering the repairs for this place, right?"

Phil Coulson slipped slightly, almost tripping. Always thinking about money, aren't you? You're a billionaire, for crying out loud. Could you at least act like it?

Of course, he didn't say it out loud; otherwise, Su Ye would've definitely retorted, "Billionaire money doesn't grow on trees, you know!"

Well, it comes from maxing out credit cards.

Batman, who had been on the rooftop, disappeared as soon as the rainbow bridge arrived.

With Thor and the Asgardians gone—and the hammer taken along—S.H.I.E.L.D. no longer had any reason to stay at the Shiranui Dojo. After compensating for the building's damages, they began packing up to leave.

Looking at the somewhat dilapidated dojo, Su Ye started wondering whether he should keep it running.

Old man Hanzo had returned to Japan, completely washing his hands of the place, as if his sole purpose had been to drop off his granddaughter.

As the dojo's master, Su Ye felt it was somewhat inappropriate to continue using the name 'Shiranui Dojo,' considering he was from China.

So, he had been thinking about renaming the dojo.

Names like 'Su Dojo,' 'Su Style Dojo,' 'Ye Style Dojo,' 'Su Sect,' 'Ye Clan,' or 'Ye School' came to mind…

But none of them really felt right.

Maybe he should just close the dojo. After all, he wasn't short on money and could take Mai Shiranui to work at Red Shield Bureau instead.

They say the ultimate goal in the universe is job security. If those high earners with daily salaries of 2.08 million are competing with ordinary folks for stable positions, why shouldn't Su Ye get one too?

He could bring not only Mai Shiranui but also Terry and the others along.

At the Muse Bar, Su Ye walked in with Sharon Carter, and the place felt a bit empty.

Joe Higashi had been lured away by the Joker, and Ryo Sakazaki and Robert had returned to Southtown.

Mai Shiranui had taken Athena and Yuri Sakazaki to Disneyland in Los Angeles, with King tagging along. They seemed set on having an extended vacation there.

As a result, the only fighter left in the bar was Terry, who was free to exchange flirtatious glances with Angelina, the resident performer.

The moment Su Ye walked in, he caught a whiff of the sour stench of love.

Unlike Su Ye, who was more of a physical kind of guy, Terry and Angelina were more emotionally connected. It was said they still blushed when kissing, and Su Ye wondered if they had gotten to that stage yet—or if they needed their "big brother" to lend a hand.

And, of course, he meant a completely proper kind of help.

"Hey, bro!" Terry greeted Su Ye as soon as he entered. As for Sharon Carter, who was trailing behind in a shirt and skirt combo that made her look like an office lady, Terry wasn't surprised at all.

His brother was great at everything, except keeping his belt tight—classic Old Su. Terry had already gotten used to it.

While getting used to it, Terry kept reminding himself never to become like Old Su or Brother Ye. He was determined to be a principled, loyal man who, despite the ocean of choices, would only pick one.

Su Ye naturally supported this mindset. There were things he couldn't do himself, but he respected those who could.

Sharon Carter sat down with Su Ye at the bar and politely introduced herself to Terry, "Hello, I'm Mr. Su's secretary, Sharon Carter."

A secretary, huh? His big brother sure knew how to live. Terry immediately understood and slid a glass toward Sharon, grabbing his cocktail shaker.

"This is my signature cocktail. Give it a try. Don't worry—everything you drink tonight is on Mr. Su."

Su Ye shot him a glance. Why not just make me pay for everyone here? Paying for just Sharon makes me look cheap.

"She's the driver. No drinking if you're driving."

Terry acted as if he didn't hear and poured Sharon a drink anyway, laughing, "No worries, there's a rest room upstairs."

No drinking and driving? Then just stay here instead.

Initially, Sharon intended to decline based on Su Ye's comment, but since Terry had already poured the drink, it felt awkward to refuse. Besides, if she didn't have to drive, she wouldn't mind a drink. So, she went along and picked up the glass.

"Then cheers!"

Gulp, gulp, gulp!

After downing her drink, Sharon remained unfazed and gave a thumbs up. "Tastes great! Can I have another?"

Watching Terry pour another, Su Ye sighed helplessly, "Fine, I'll drive tonight."

At that moment, Angelina walked over. "Hey, big bro, let me toast you."

As Terry's girlfriend and Su Ye's sister-in-law—formerly known as the top social butterfly in Southtown—Angelina knew exactly whose side to take.

How could Su Ye refuse a drink from his sister-in-law? That wouldn't be right.

Gulp, gulp, gulp!

Late at night, after closing the bar, Terry left with Angelina, while Su Ye took Sharon Carter to the upstairs rest room.

No drinking and driving. Not even horse-riding counts as an exception.

In the rest room, where the air conditioning was comfortably set, Sharon loosened the top button of her tight shirt as soon as they entered. "Boss, I'm thirsty."

Su Ye waved her off. "Help yourself to some water. I'll use the restroom first…"

"Let me help you!"

…..

The next morning, Su Ye closed his eyes, ready to get some proper rest.

Beside him, Sharon Carter lay curled up like a little bunny that had been ravaged by a wild beast, her legs twitching occasionally.

Seeing this, Su Ye gently covered her with a blanket. If someone lacks the skill but insists on playing hard, who can they blame?

…..

Around noon, Su Ye was woken up by a phone call. Seeing the caller ID, he realized it was Harry.

"Hey, Harry! Long time no see. What've you been up to lately?"

Su Ye answered the call, while Sharon Carter let out a soft groan but continued to sleep soundly beside him.

On the other end, Harry sounded excited. "Hey, Su, where are you? Got time to swing by? I've stumbled upon a great project. Let's work on it together."

Su Ye clicked his tongue. "The two of us working on something together?"

"Of course!" Harry replied nonchalantly. "Without you, it wouldn't be as fun. Cut the chatter; I'll send you the address. Get over here ASAP!"

After hanging up, Su Ye glanced at Sharon Carter, realizing she wouldn't be getting up anytime soon. He went downstairs alone, greeted Angelina, and then drove to the address Harry had sent.

When he arrived, Su Ye found himself at an improvised lab. Upon entering, he saw Harry standing with another tall man, waiting for him.

Looking at the tall man, Su Ye found him oddly familiar.

A middle part in his hair, a sharp nose, almost 1.9 meters tall, and slightly chubby.

"Su, let me introduce you," Harry said warmly, pulling Su Ye closer. "This is Dr. Otto Octavius, a nuclear energy expert and soon-to-be professor at Empire State University."

Pulling Su Ye in front of Dr. Octavius, Harry continued, "Dr. Octavius, this is Su Ye, my best friend and potentially your best student."

"Honestly, if it weren't for him, I might not have graduated high school with my science credits."

As Harry finished his introduction, an image popped into Su Ye's mind. This Otto had nothing to do with cars like Audi or Alto; he was Doc Ock, one of Spider-Man's iconic villains.

Of course, for now, he was just a regular scientist—not yet the infamous Doc Ock.
