To kill or not to kill

Avery awoke breathlessly as usual. She had a day off today so she wore a black dress with some dark red patterns and embroidery which complicated her scales. It was knee length allowing her coverage while also letting out her tail with long sleeves. She wore black tights and heels in which her feet sat more comfortably than her work boots. She wore her hair half up held by an ornamental hairclip with the rest draped across her shoulders. She did her makeup as she usually did on her off days.

The smell of meat being grilled made her stomach growl.

"Morning sunshine, love the eyeliner."Alister commented as she entered the kitchen.

"Morning, thank you. I tried a new technique today."Avery replied.

"It looks good."Alister added filling Avery's plate.

"Got any plans for today?"Alister asked.

"I think I'm going to go shopping then I'm supposed to meet up with Caster and Irisa to figure out what to do with our section of the reforestation."Avery replied.

"Well ..." And the conversation continued on that note.

Avery walked through the town square looking at the various wares in the stalls. She picked up a green flower shaped hairclip, inspecting it while the merchant ranted on about her excellent choice. When she asked for the price he replied that it was only 1200 tubas. Avery immediately set down the clip and started to move on to the next stall.

"For you a special discount, 900 tubas only." The merchant called out.

"Alright alright you win 600 tubas but I can't go lower as then I would be selling at a loss." The merchant called one last time.

Avery then stopped and purchased the clip.

Avery moved through the market with practiced precision sometimes stopping to purchase an accessory or two.

She finished her shopping just as she reached her favorite stall.

"Avery Soo good to see you, Caster and Irisa are already here, you want some BBQ ribs right" someone called out from behind the counter.

"Alice how's school going for you, of course I want Bbq ribs with the extra spicy sauce."Avery replied.

"It's going great, one plate of extra spicy Bbq ribs coming right up."Alice replied cheerfully.

She spotted Caster and Irisa sitting as a table in the corner snacking on some chawshaw.

"Am I interrupting your date?"Avery joked.

"Avery glad you're here we just cannot decide what to do with our section A."Caster replied as Irisa blushed behind him.

"Well I think...."Avery set out the plan she had in mind.

"That could work." Irisa said just as Alice set down the ribs.

"Just the reforestation we are supposed to do in section A." Caster replied.

"You should get something that can easily survive floods. "Alice advised.

" That's exactly what we are planning." Irisa replied.

" We are going to go collect some seeds and saplings and stuff after this." Caster went on.

" Well good luck with that" Alice said as she spotted someone standing at her counter.

They quickly finished their food and left after paying.
