Chapter 41: No-Name Girl

What I dreaded the most about Carla was her determination. I know such a characteristic should be a good attribute but in her hands it is the most lethal weapon. She could go to any length to make a person's life a living hell and who better to know this than me who's life was a typical example?

I was always on her black book!

She had the look in her eyes that screamed of certainty so much that I had to rethink my life choices. Maybe I really was a criminal but I had no idea about it!

"Don't you wanna know the weakness of yours which I possess?"

To be honest, I'm not that curious in this regard but I have a feeling she'd spill the beans either ways.

I stared at her with indifferent eyes and she sneered at me in return.

"You always had the eyes of a dead fish, so prickly and yet so infuriating." She spat and folded her hands across her full chest. I bet she did that to intimidate mine which was nowhere close to measuring up!
