Long Time No See

Boom! Boom! Boom!

"Forced execution."

"Ahhhhhh!"

"Don't come any closer, you monsters! How did these slaves become so powerful?"

"Protect the lab! Don't let the monsters in. Abandon the encirclement and retreat!"

"Forced execution."

"Why? Why? Why are we born lowly? We have become extraordinary through our own efforts! Why must you destroy everything I have? Ahhhh!"

"Kill! Kill! Kill!"

Blood and fire, chaos and order, roars and violence.

At this moment, the small town at night resembled a purgatory on earth. Extraordinary individuals were relentlessly battered by the frenzied atmosphere, and horrific scenes flashed through their minds.

These visions drove some into madness, causing the weaker extraordinary citizens to rush toward the frenzied monsters, their minds lost to desperation. The sounds of direct collisions echoed throughout the town.

Amidst the turmoil, the only calm presence was the Mayor of Night, his body rapidly reassembling itself. He flipped through a black-covered book, his cold voice carrying the authority of the law.

"Night law enforcement: murder, arson, destruction of property, killing of law enforcement officers, endangering public safety, organizing terrorist attacks, massacres—multiple crimes, and forced executions!"

Buzz!

The power of the rules clashed with a Frenzy Bloom, and suddenly, its body began to disintegrate, bones crumbling as if struck by a withering blade. The creature shrank before their eyes.

"Ahhhhhh!"

In that moment, Kaifa erupted into hysterical screams.

The frenzied power surged outward, knocking back the Dawn Squad that sought to confront this formidable foe. The slaves, released from their repression, fought against the powerful rules of this world with fierce defiance.

Release was a direct violation of the law.

Crack!

The horrifying rules were pushed back as the massive monster expanded to thirteen meters in height. It raised its fists high, preparing to strike with unparalleled fury.

Dong!

A layer of transparent rules appeared above the mayor's head. He calmly reprimanded, "Assaulting the mayor is a serious crime. Forced execution!"

Buzz!

The rules that had been momentarily disrupted descended again, attempting to obliterate the last remnants of the Frenzy Bloom's resistance.

"I can't resist! Why can't I resist? If I can't, why was I born into this world? Die! Let's all die together! This world will be buried with me! Buried with me, ah ah ah ah!"

The hysterical roar shook the ground, and the Frenzy Bloom's body continued to expand, its power rising endlessly. It refused to let its final stand be thwarted.

Crack, crack, crack.

Under this overwhelming force, the rules above the mayor's head shattered. He raised his gaze, calm despite the chaos: "Forced execution, forced execution."

The low murmurs and the turning of pages only served to reinforce the rules, but the cracks had reached their limit. The monster's hundreds of eyes glowed bright red, bulging with fury as its body expanded to its maximum.

Ka~dong!

With a resonant sound, a shockwave radiated from the mayor, obliterating everything in its path—buildings, earth, all reduced to dust.

Even members of the Dawn Squad, poised to charge, were forced to retreat in the face of the overwhelming shockwave.

Taylor pulled his teammates, fleeing the town with bloodshot eyes. Only two of his four comrades remained. The monsters were too powerful; each attack was a relentless display of madness.

"Captain, aren't you... going in?"

"What's the point? Those monsters are not aligned with the town. They'll attack anyone they spot. Let's leave while we still can. We can discuss our next steps once things stabilize."

As Taylor fled, the remaining members of the Dawn Squad abandoned thoughts of confronting the chaos and hurriedly retreated.

The team heading in Taylor's direction was fortunate, using the shockwaves as cover to escape the town. Others, however, were not so lucky.

One Dawn Squad raced through the chaos, suddenly feeling a chilling gaze upon them.

When the team leader turned, his heart sank. A nine-meter-tall monster loomed behind them, fists raised high, ready to strike.

Boom!

The final thought of Captain Dawn was one of confusion. Why was this monster so powerful and fast?

Boom~

Dark Night Town had vanished. Only six monsters remained, roaring in unison, driven to vent their fury, intent on annihilating all living beings.

As one monster approached another during the chase, their hundreds of eyes locked onto one another, unleashing a powerful roar as they collided violently.

They couldn't distinguish friend from foe; whether from the Mad Bloom or the Dawn Squad, all living creatures within their perception range would perish.

Boom!

The clash between the two unleashed a violent wind, creating a massive pit amidst the debris of fallen monsters. The mayor, having been obliterated by the suicide attack, slowly reformed his body.

His old face bore a hollow expression as he watched the chaos unfold. The damaged book in his hand began to mend under the influence of the rules.

He aimlessly picked a direction and strolled toward the site of the monster collision. As mayor, he held the authority to punish any creature that violated the law within the town; regardless of their strength, they would face justice.

"What kind of monster is this?"

Boom!

A massive creature crashed down, and the two remaining gold-ranked Night Cultists looked on in confusion.

Of the six golden-ranked Night Cultists, two fell to Charles' attack, one perished in a clash with the Dawn Squad, and yet another was taken down by a frenzied monster. Only a fighter, hindered by injury, and a mage remained.

Now, from a distance, the power of the rules clashed with the two monsters, which were still chasing the fleeing Dawn Team.

Having just dealt with a frenzied creature, they now found themselves targeted by another.

The madness in those hundreds of eyes was terrifying, and the overwhelming sense of oppression weighed heavily on the Night Cultists.

The fighter's face turned pale beneath his mask as he stared intently at the approaching monster, gathering his strength.

Buzz!

The monster charged forward, moving with an unexpected speed for its size, crashing into the two remaining Cultists.

A golden aura erupted from the fighter as he summoned his strength to deliver a powerful punch.

Boom!

Time seemed to freeze for a moment before a blast of air erupted between them, blocking the monster's assault. The severely damaged ground began to sink, exposing an underground complex.

In the heart of the complex, a group of robed figures with faceless masks surrounded an object, chanting spells as magical energy flowed around them without releasing any breath.

The rubble fell, and energy surged through the air, seeming to pass through the mages without disturbing them.

"Ahem..."

The fighter coughed, blood escaping the corner of his mouth as he gazed at the monster, now knocked backward by his blow.

He bent his knees, preparing to leap for a follow-up attack, but was abruptly halted by a surge of energy.

A massive magic spear, over a hundred meters long, formed above them, spinning as it fell with overwhelming magical force.

As the monster fell, the spear struck its chest directly.

Boom! Buzz!

Magical energy erupted, sending the tentacled creature crashing into the ground, unleashing terrifying magical waves.

The fighter stepped forward, ready to press the advantage and defeat the monster.

But he was halted once more. He turned to the wizard, a weak yet determined look in his eyes. "What are you doing?"

"We need to enter to protect the spirits. We have so few left; these monsters are irrational. If they can't sense us, they won't chase us in," the wizard replied, ignoring the fighter's protests.

The terrifying magical energy enveloped them, forcing them into the illusion of the underground complex.

The fighter wanted to argue further, but the frustrated Frenzy Bloom had already risen, its hundred scarlet eyes scanning the surroundings before locking onto the multi-armed rule monster, still recovering from Charles' earlier attack.

"Die! All of you die! Be buried with me, ahhhh!"

The violent roar echoed through the sky.

Boom!

The monster charged with extreme speed, dust swirling in its wake, creating a sonic boom that shattered the ground before it.

Its body expanded as it leaped high, hands raised above its head, gathering an unfathomable force.

When the power peaked, it plummeted down like a meteor, crashing into the rule monster.

Boom~

The ground of Night Town began to vanish, leaving no trace of buildings behind.

"Ah..."

The monstrous roars filled the atmosphere, and in just five minutes, only four Frenzy Blooms and two Rule monsters remained.

Everything else was reduced to ruins, the ground sinking hundreds of meters into a massive pit now transformed into a gladiatorial arena.

Powerful waves erupted within the giant pit, continuously expanding.

"Look!"

Lilia gasped at the scene before her, feeling the terrifying energy even from a distance.

Bai Yi observed with a strange expression. The core rules of the Forbidden University had disintegrated before reaching this level.

With nothing left in Night Town, why were the rule monsters still thriving? Could the Law System be the core of this rule area?

"Captain, what is happening?" Lilia finally asked, concern etched on her face. "And where is Ryan? Is he dead too?"

Bai Yi shook his head. "He's not dead, so don't worry."

Through his mechanical mosquitoes and flies, he transmitted images of the scene. Nearby, members of the Dawn Team gazed at the vast pit, lingering in fear.

They hesitated to leave, perhaps unwilling to abandon hope or for another reason entirely.

Everyone awaited a resolution.

Yet, Bai Yi noticed the absence of Charles and Pu Sheng. Their survival was not in question; Charles' prowess ensured he wouldn't fall easily.

He and Pu Sheng likely escaped at the first opportunity, but Bai Yi had no need to know their whereabouts.

Their advantage had vanished. With Lilia at his side, if Charles dared to confront the Dawn Team, it was uncertain who they would follow.

And as for Pu Sheng, how much strength would he have left after this chaos?

The last surge of Madness Bloom attacks unleashed devastation; the earth shook, and blood flowed freely.

"Let's go take a look."

As Bai Yi spoke, he grasped Lilia's arm and lowered his body. His agility of 580 propelled him forward, producing sonic booms that reverberated through the air.

Eyes turned toward him, revealing shock and fear.

This speed reached the pinnacle of gold-level prowess, a rare legend in this world.

As Bai Yi and Lilia approached the massive pit, all roars ceased.

The world fell into an eerie silence.

Members of the Dawn Team, drawn closer, dared not approach too closely; nearly twenty of their comrades had perished during this venture into the rule area.

This staggering loss would cripple the Kingdom of Sabah for decades.

Bai Yi focused on the pit's depths.

There, rules were being nurtured, and an old man alongside a colossal monster was healing rapidly under their influence.

Above them, a surreal area floated, remnants of the former underground base transformed into an aerial sanctuary.

From the hidden light above, it was clear they resided in another realm.

Among them, the Night Cultists were busy, with two of their number observing the scene outside, calm yet alert.

Lilia sensed something and instinctively hid behind Bai Yi, glancing left with trepidation.

Bai Yi smiled, "It's been a long time since we last met."
