"So in simple terms, you're a ghostbuster?" I teased, unable to resist.
"Argh! I'm not a ghostbuster! Also, ghosts and spirits are different!" he exclaimed, as he ran a hand over his hair.
"Then what do they call people like you?" I pressed.
"Others call us exorcists, but I like to refer to myself as an 'escort,' since I guide spirits who have become trapped in vengeful places to their proper destination," he said as he tilted his chin up high.
I couldn't help but let out a small laugh. "Yeah… I should just call you exorcist."
"Maybe you're right. 'Escort' seems a bit too much, especially since I work at night," he said, chuckling at the accidental double meaning.
"Do you always accept cases like this? Isn't it risky to do it alone?" I asked, referring to why he's here.
"Well I don't mind doing this. Besides, it's like I have an underworld profession that the public isn't aware of," he replied, a twinkle of mischief in his eye.
