“To the beach with my brother. We just need to pack your bag and get you out of here. Thereʼs going to be a jet waiting on you two. So romantic.” 


I frowned, glanced down at my PJs and then back at Aurora. 


“You do realize I’m still half-asleep, right, Ro?” 


Way too happy and awake for this ungodly hour. 


“You shower. Iʼll have Ms. Delphine bringing you breakfast so we can get you packed up quickly.” 


“We usually don’t hire many humans, but she was recommended by the previous cook. She’s not been here long, but she’s doing great so far.” Aurora raised her brows at me. “Hey what are you still sitting around waiting for? Get a move on, geez Jody!” 


“Are you coming, too?” I asked, dragging myself to the bathroom.
