I bet there couldn't be a worse feeling than what I was experiencing at that moment. I swore under my breath as I tried to open my eyes, but it felt as if my coordination muscles had completely abandoned me. My head throbbed as if it had been run over by a bus, and I felt like death itself.

I could barely remember anything from the previous night, except for the moment my sister thrust a tumbler into my face.

Sighing in frustration, I sat up with much difficulty, slowly taking in my unfamiliar surroundings with a growing sense of dread. I had no idea what had happened, and being in a strange place only heightened my anxiety. Without a second thought, I swung my legs out of bed, immediately regretting the sudden movement as the world spun violently around me. Bile rose in my throat without warning, and I had to swallow hard to keep from retching onto the carpeted floor. Bracing myself against the wall next to the bed, I waited for the dizziness to subside.
