A Dangerous Revelation

Ethan sat in the dim glow of his laptop screen, his pulse hammering in his ears. The file he had uncovered was timestamped from the night Alex died—a video buried deep within the system. He had been sifting through old security footage, chasing inconsistencies, but this… this was different.

He pressed play.

The grainy footage flickered to life. The camera angle was shaky, as if someone had been recording secretly. Shadows played across the walls of the dimly lit bathroom. And then—Alex. He was sitting on the edge of the bathtub, his face obscured, his posture tense.

Another figure entered the frame.

Ethan’s breath caught.

He was standing close to Alex, his body language urgent, his hands gripping Alex’s shoulders. Though the video had no audio, the agitation in their movements was undeniable. Samuel was saying something—pleading, almost. Alex pushed him away. Then, suddenly, Alex stumbled. His body lurched backward, arms flailing—

The screen cut to black.
