Rachel POV
The Next morning. As I slowly opened my eyes, the piercing sunlight pricked through my brain like a pin. I groaned, rubbing my temple as well as placing my hands on my head. My head throbbed, and my mouth felt dry and sour. The memories of last night were hazy, but the consequences were painfully clear. I tried to move my lazy body from the bed, but the wave of dizziness hit me like a tsunami, forcing me back to the comfort of my pillow. My stomach churned, protesting against the slightest movement. I buried my face in the pillow, praying for relief from the head-splitting headache.
The buzz from my phone on the nightstand was like a nail on a chalkboard. I stretched my lazy hand, reaching for the phone and squinting at the screen. 5 missed calls from my best friend, Mary. I tried to call her back when the memories of the previous night hit me like a tornado
