Rachel POV
As I emerged from the exam hall, I felt like a liberated soul, shedding the weight of months-long anxiety. I was visibly exhausted but elation illuminated my eyes. The burden of anticipation lifted and I yearned to throw my arms skyward in triumphant celebration. Despite the upcoming professional exam, passing this one would be a huge accomplishment.
I approached the shelf where our bags were tucked away, assuming they were safe. Scanning the top shelf yielded nothing, so I crouched down to investigate further. As I reached for my bag, a sudden movement caught my eye. I jerked my head up, and my gaze locked onto the presence
"You didn't run out of the exam hall because of me, did you?" I joked
"How was the exam?" She almost squealed, ignoring my question
"Why are you screaming? Some are still in there" I gestured towards the exam hall
"Do you have to be a buzz-kill?" She looked at me, her face crestfallen
"The exam was nice"
