As I emerged from my apartment, I adjusted my V-neck top and smoothed out my braided hair. I was excited to head to Mary's place for a night of celebration. We'd finally survived the Almighty Nursing Council exam, and she'd invited me over for a fun-filled evening. I'd been looking forward to it all week, especially since Tommy's girlfriend would be joining us.
