Elara’s POV
The car pulled away from the manor, and I couldn’t help but feel a nervous excitement bubbling up inside me. Sabrina sat beside me, practically vibrating with enthusiasm as she chattered on, but it was… contagious. Shopping for me usually meant picking up a few practical things or a small splurge when I had some extra money. But I’d never done anything like this, and certainly never with family.
After a moment, I looked over at her, hesitating. “I, uh… I should probably warn you. I’ve never really done this before. The whole… shopping thing.”
Sabrina laughed, throwing her arm around my shoulders like we’d been sisters forever. “Elara, that’s exactly why I’m here! Trust me, by the end of today, you’re going to be *in love* with shopping. I’ve got it all planned out; we’re going for full luxury. No holds barred.”
I managed a small smile. “Guess I have some catching up to do.”
