**Elara's POV**
“Hey,” he said quietly, his voice like a breeze, smoothing over the tension in my shoulders. “I’ve arranged something for us.”
Before I could respond, he took my hand in his, his grip warm and reassuring. The way he held me, as though he could keep the world at bay, made my heart flutter in my chest.
“What is it?” I asked, my voice a little more hopeful than I meant it to be.
“A nice dinner,” he said with a small smile. “I thought you could use a break. You’ve had a long day.”
The words were simple, but they sent a ripple of comfort through me. A break. Yes, I needed that. Something that wasn’t about the pack, or about appearances, or about the constant pressure. Just a quiet, peaceful evening with him.
He led me to the driveway, where a sleek black car was waiting, the engine humming softly. The door opened, and the driver stepped out, greeting us with a polite nod.
