She couldn't tell if what she was seeing was real or fake until she heard him say, "I see Kelvin was here and you both must have talked a lot for you to have that smile on your face." Nora remained mute. "Won't you ask me in or would you call the cops?"
Nora's hand remained still on the door, she wasn't even sure what she should do. She thought he left the city, why is he then in front of her? She asked.
A lump was stuck in her throat, she had to swallow hard before she could get the words out, "What are you doing here?"
Michael's eyes strodded to her stomach and he smiled, "Mind if I come in and we can talk about this?" He looked up at her. Nora didn't know why but she gestured him in but while he went to take his seat, she stood afar off with her arms folded across her chest as she waited for him to start talking.
