Behind the Scenes of War I

The black room thrummed with the energy of three dozen focused personnels. My arrival was intently silent and unobservable so they paid me no mind just as I wanted.

The place was a bit intimidating, having been built deep beneath a decommissioned NATO bunker, its walls were lined with matte obsidian panels designed to absorb light and sound. Fluorescent tendrils pulsed faintly under the floor like arteries feeding the war machine. In the center stood a hexagonal table surrounded by chairs, there sat the dome of the Generals he was familiar with from his past spying missions on the Pentagon.

They were General Jenny Chaplin, Deputy Commander of U.S. Central Command, General Colin “Viper" Reed, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and General Harold Khan, U.S. Special Operations Command Commander.

The black room was under the command of General Khan and it was him the personnel were reporting to as they carried out their duties of surveillance, strategy, and survival.
