With the disappearance of the meditation hall and the corridor around, Ian, Lyra, and the others were briefly covered in mist before suddenly being transferred to another place.
Then, they began hearing other people's voices—some excited, some dejected, and some intrigued. It looked like everyone got transferred to the same place.

Ian relaxed while looking at Aurora, who was still by his side, standing woodenly under his control.
