The world Ian travelled through, Aetherion, was huge. It was so large that even after reading the Arcane Passage up to Volume 1, Ian didn't know its size and influence.

However, out of all the places, if Ian had to say which one he was the most familiar with, then he would pick Calvora without a doubt. 

In fact, he wasn't even as knowledgeable about the Gravethrone Continent as he was about Calvora.

But he couldn't be called out, as the major plot—or all the plot up to where he had read—happened in the Calvora Continent.

Gravethrone Continent was just Carl's starting point, where he was introduced as an orphan who happened to luck out and become acquainted with Ruther, a sixth-ring wizard.

Starting with the usual clichéd plot, Carl was already sailing on the Deepsire toward Calvora for his wizarding path within a few chapters.
